I couldn’t agree more. I bought my Chicago 1’s for $447 (no cap) OG all, condition 9/10 from Goat last year (it was from an offer I submitted). After that, Goat became my “go-to” app for shoes, can’t beat those prices.

I rather just buy them brand new and break them in myself sometimes when you look at a used shoe you can see the lint from the socks they were before or if it's a light color shoe you can see that foot the sweat foot pattern from their sock and it for me it gets me grossed out I'll go check how much it is brand new and if it's you know less than $100 to buy a brand new I really just buy a brand new I'm not going to buy a used shoe for 500 bucks when I can have it brand new for seven I'm just saying some new shoes yes I'll get but they have to be I don't know they had to be really taken care of for me to buy them because I mean yeah you get it for cheaper and a little more beat up but they already put their imprint on there and if your foot doesn't match their foot you're going to have problems walking around

My problem with the goat is their ability or I should say inability to authenticate whether the shoe was used or new. Authenticating whether it’s a replica or not they are really good at. But out of four suede Jordans that I’ve got, three of them have had damage in the suede and clearly had been worn a couple times. Scraping on the stars of some fours also. Just keep your eye out when you order from goat. Their authenticators forget to check new to see if the item is new or used when authenticating

I like goat but I have a discrepancy with them. So my thing is I offered up on a pair of Travis mocha lows and it came perfect. Literally looked un touched and everything was great. Note I offered up so a seller sent it to them then to me. Now I bought the Travis OG highs. Straight just bought them on there no offer up nothing. They sent me a sus pair that took 2 weeks to varify and it came with a bunch of Chinese tags and the box was damaged and gave a couple red flags. The shoe I had gotten authenticated and they said it might be a European pair but is 50/50 on if they real. They sent me a return label and I’m sending them back for another pair. I’m disappointed in the fact I paid like 1800 for these shoes so they should be in mint condition on point down to a Tee! I still fw goat but damn man
