    This video is not meant to be negative, only to give you hope and a reminder that there are many ways a baseball player can get his school paid for, and here's the most important thing... planning for that EARLY. The worst is when you realize too late that you've closed off options that could've been helpful. The sooner players understand this, the better their chances will be of getting school paid for, whether through baseball alone or a combination of different options

    Doug and Ethan - THANK YOU SO MUCH for the work you guys are doing and the knowledge you are spreading! This video should have MILLIONS of views because us parents are out here GRINDING to keep our kids' dreams alive. My wife and son have already gotten the links to both this video and to Keep Playing Baseball. This is REQUIRED VIEWING for ANY kid at ANY level in their career!!! Doug, I hope you'll post a short video detailing YOUR experience: did you play club ball, were you recruited/scholarship, what were your grades like, what was your high school, college, and professional journeys like?

    My son is a pitcher. He was extremely fortunate to get a scholarship to a D1 Texas school, in The Big 12. It is a private school and with 70% we still are going going to have to make up the difference. I really wish we would have been more focused on preparing for the SAT and academics in general to make up the difference. Also if your a good player and can get academic scholarship you have a definite recruiting advantage.
