Kashmir has

there is specific procedure how yo fold flag before hoisting. indian flag lowered after sunset.u cannot use flag on any clothing or shoes or any fabrics.there is specific dimensions of flag length every line every division

States in India don't have separate flags but they do have state emblems. At least most of them do.

As an indian who lives in America I can answers korbin's question very confidently. Americans are obsessessed about their flags. It's crazy 🤣🤣🤣. when I came to US for the first time I pointed it out to my then boyfriend ( now husband) that so so so many people here in the US have flags in front of their houses. I guess he doesn't realise that since he is from here and that's all he has seen his entire life so finds it normal 🤷‍♀️. But you don't see this in my country. Only during independence day and republic day does the flags come out. 😬

What we are taught in school: Top-Saffron-Sacrifice Middle-White-Peace Bottom-Green-Prosperity Ashoka Chakra: Time cycle of 24 spokes=24 hours, also like a wheel so as to 'keep moving forward'. Obviously there's much more meanings to the colours but primarily these you must know.

That video needs little bit of correction for the meaning of the flag's colour, so like saffron colour is meaning or symbol of the sacrifice and courage for those people who lost their lives for this country and fight for this country and what is said for white is wrong it's not the meaning of purity, it's the symbol of peace and green is related to agriculture like it's the symbol of fertility, growth and auspiciousness of the land and Ashok chakra (the wheel in the middle) is the symbol of law of Dharma , truth or Satya, Dharma or ought to be the controlling principal of those who work under this flag. When they came into power, their voice become the voice of that state. U already know the seperatism issue in Nagaland which is in full form right now.

@@ijaz2333 lol ok but that's not official however in constitution it's right of states that they can have their own flag too but that can not be hoist above or same level to national flag. In actual none state have official state flag.
