When I first watched this video I couldn't replicate what you said no matter how hard I tried but this afternoon I suddenly figured it out and all at once I could do an almost perfect trippy spin. I could control my altitude and my proximity as much as I want. And 2 more packs later I could rewind it whenever I wanted on the fly. It's like when that feeling comes it's unstoppable. Now I can even trippy spin "horizontally" - I don't even know this is the right word but I definitely can spin around a horizontal bar in the way I trippy spin the tree, just half cycle moves faster than the other because of gravity. After all this exciting experience, I re-visited this vid and I found that every word you said about trippy spin was right. It's just I couldn't understand it in the first place.

@@jacuzzijay I either hit the ground or I end up way in the air, but the light post starts moving away from the quad too. I either need more roll or yaw with that. Haven't figured it out yet.

Free tip: if you find yourslef using too much throttle and you still can't keep the quad orbiting, you need a lot more roll and some more pitch.

Hahahahah gold, 30 degrees all the time, going higher uptilt will make it easier sure, but it’s kinda cheating

i do it the same way. but i only get 4 out of 10 times. 4 that reason i aint doing it with a gopro yet. funny thing tho is, in liftoff i get 8 out of 10 times trying. cheers happy riping.

Hahahahha dude so true. But aye the Sim makes everything easy, gravity works different and the huge fov. Just a different experience. Try adding more pitch when you do it on the sticks for real
