This was one of the best debuts/releases I’ve seen in years. It’s on par with LOONA’s Butterfly for me in terms of the incredibly beautiful songs and MVs. Ironically i cry every time I watch this mv just like i do with Butterfly. I’m beyond proud of them and can’t wait to see what their future holds.

I agree, nothing ever came close to Butterfly for me, but TripleS is like a group that's supposed to carry that LOONA legacy, with a unique twist, but they are the most LOONA vibes giving group there exists. Well, it has been created by the guy who was heavily involved with LOONA, so it's no surprise. I love everything about them and their music, it slaps.

yes the dance in the sand scene of GND reminds me of the dancing scene of butterfly the angle and the very ritualistic still huhu

The scene where the girls with wings were on the building became 1 crow after they jumped off. The 2 girls are the first member of the group S1 SeoYeon and S24 JiYeon the last member of the group who's real name is Suh-yeon which is pronounced the exact same way as S1's name. They both actually have 1 wing and are symbol of completing the group, coming full circle, and supporting each other. thanks for the reaction,

This! Yes I notice they just have one wing each person. And at the end, the crows that flying out of the grave are 23 (because the S1 & S24 are completing each other and become one crow)

Also reminded me of the Jian, the bird from the anime darling in the franxx. The bird has only one wing and they need to be in pairs, rely on each other to be able to fly.

I think it's important to note why overcoming depression is a relevant topic to tripleS. Considering some of the members were survival show participants, who never got to debut, while others were actors, models etc. but were no longer content or grew out of their former career paths. So overcoming depression, is as much dealing with the thought of possibilities and new beginnings, while acknowledging that the neglect they had previously experienced, could be buried (like in the mv), and they would all be able to come back to life as tripleS members, together.

yes, also if you have watched special chaeyeon secretbase, she says that she can relate to every word «even if the lyrics werent mine, i still felt like it is about me» i mean, chaeyeon is the idol who got to debut 3 times and never gave up

As a filmography enthusiast i absolutely love the way tripleS mv's storyline..its just flawless

I think the word you're looking for at the end, about the song, is uplifting. The song gives a feel of comfort with it and video shows the dark side of that message that they are trying to bring. This whole MV is a masterpiece and I love the message overall

I'm sure you'd love their discography, it's been bangers from the beginning. some of the B-sides are sub-pop-genre's that are quite rare in general k-pop but it hits so good :)

They deserve more recognition

The birds represent the girls in the mv (ants on soomin/ gamer girl’s hands then next scene are the ants on the dead body of the bird) One girl almost gets hit by a car, the other tries to drown, but the don’t die. The birds with the girl on the building are all falling but at the end they are flying again. The two who jump off become the bird (they each have only 1 wing) its a perseverance song, not giving up etc, most of their songs are uplifting and empowering!

Their "ASSEMBLE24" Album was really good

The birds in MV are crows and they are usually known as a symbol of death, misfortune, accident in South Korea. Many South Korean have accepted crows as ominous sign but in this MV, the directer used them as the birds eating up all depressed girls' deaths and giving the girls new life.

I dont even go here and while i liked Generation this...holy shit this song is GIVING. So pretty, strong and depressing at the same time😭

@@Aya-leeyoona They are 24 members which is one unit but they get divided into different units and each unit has a name. so Far TripleS is the unit and they have made sub-units which divides the members: Krystal Eyes with the title track Cherry Talk, AAA with Generation, Lovelution with Girls Capitalism, Evolution with Invincible, We also have Triples NXT with a performance video Just do it and TripleS Aria which is a ballad unit. All sub-units have a different amount of members while mixing them up. TripleS does not have a permanent sub-unit but NCT does they have NCT Dream and NCT 127. I think i made it sound more complicated but i tried
