I entered into the Orthodox Church and in my baptism into Christ, I took on the name of my patron Saint, Cuthbert the Wonderworker of Lindisfarne. Before becoming orthodox, I visited Northern England, and I felt a strange drawing to that little island, having no idea why. I look forward to soon visit the UK again and do a pilgrimage along Saint Cuthbert’s Way and of course venerate my precious Saint at the Cathedral. Holy Cuthbert is a joy to walk with in this life below. Even though my parish is of the Russian tradition, we have many icons of Celtic and Western Saints gracing our Nave. Thank you for this video.

I am Orthodox myself, brother. Christ is risen!
Durham Cathedral is one of the "must see" places to visit in the UK. The building and its ambience are overwhelming, more "earthy" somehow than many other cathedrals, and with a pervading sense of spirituality.

An actual Catholic saint named Cuthbert? I thought this was going to be a D&D video.
