I cannot believe Jacob went to the Trap Museum! That is so dope! The Trap museum is owned by TI. That's why you saw so much of him. As far as the Snowman exhibit the picture of the guy on the wall is Young Jeezy and his Persona is the Snowman and it was very controversial at the peak of his stardom. The guy that was on the wall that you didn't know who he was was Yo Gotti a Memphis rapper. A trap is wherever you make your money at no matter what it is. It's not limited too just drugs. As far as the pink car goes there was a all pink house in Atlanta called the trap house owned by rapper 2 Chainz where the car used to be parked. It was a very popular tourist spot and yes it was in very many videos! Hit me up if you have more questions!

I can’t be the only one finding the carpetbagger’s trip to the trap museum completely hilarious!!!🤣🤣
This video is so funny 😂 so many things misunderstood by jacobs innocent mind 😭 love the vid!!!
Just a couple facts..... you see a lot of ti because he is considered the founder of trap music....his second album was called Trap Muzic. The room full of white bricks is not snow.... it’s cocaine....dedicated to young Jeezy aka the snowman Yo gotti was the translucent guy.....a Memphis trapper known for Coke All the sprite is for “dirty sprite” made with codeine and promethazine or pretty much anything with low caffeine....modern day heroin aka lean The pink trap is dedicated to 2 chainz....from his Pretty Girls Like Trap Music album....he literally had a pink trap in one of the neighborhoods everything was pink as you can see lol As far as the “Trap”.....it doesn’t necessarily mean illegal activity..... a trap is a hustle......by any means.....fast food workers....business owners....the people you see holding signs....all have their respective traps.........btw I appreciate the content......much respect to you for going and learning about something that’s seems so out of your element....it’s stuff like this that makes America a better place....good job bro

TI also is the founder and owner of the trap museum. You can goggle it. Are watch his reality show where they are putting it all together.
Holy crap what I would’ve given to be in there, with Jacob walking through and explaining everything 😂 I genuinely love that no place is off limits and you give them all the same “my viewers might not know this stuff so I’ll read and explain everything.” It’s genuinely helped me and my family find some crazy places to go!
trap means exactly what the word means trap because usually a trap house is one way in one way out usually in apartments where there's only one way in one way out and so when the cops raid there's no way out and you're trapped

@@scottiecasey9312 it's also terribly addicting and has killed many people from over doses. Including a couple well known rappers. Most notably from the chopped n screwed and trap music sub genres. Most recently Juice Wrld succumbed to a sudden OD but that wasnt soleltly from the lean although that probably helped jump start his journey into opiate use.

I know where this originated at: Houston, Texas. DJ Screw made the music slow in order for it to be experienced while sipping on lean.

Jacob, it's videos like this that make you my favorite KZreadr ever. You find the most interesting, unexpected places to go and you walk through and just speak your thoughts (and honestly, I'd be just as confused at most of the exhibits as you were). Thanks for finding these kind of fascinating places to visit!

Based on the Von Trapp Family Singers? Good one! As an aging punk, I recall OG rap, & think crack houses somehow morphed into traps. My generation glorified drugs. This one tends to glorify the green it generates. They seem more money-minded where we simply had muddled minds. In grade school, my best friendgurl & I would invite neighbor boys over when folks were away & try to coerce them into drinking mystery cocktails, concocted from various items scavenged from the medicine cabinet mixed w/sodapop & Smarties, an early precursor to the Sprite, cough syrup, Jolly Rancher mix.
This reminds me when Adam The Woo took a Hood Tour through Crenshaw and Compton in Los Angeles!
Just be thankful that you were totally out of your element on this one Jacob!
A great episode. looking forward to tonight's LIVE chat.

Great video!!!!!!!
That's awesome, they name a museum after a house, where drugs ate sold. That epitomises progress. They've evolved.
🤣🤣🤣🤣😩 this was so funny! I’m from Atlanta! The expression of “Trap” means being stuck or caught up in a setting where you don’t know how to get out. Most people try to find the quickest way out and that’s usually the way that have them end up back in that environment.. the trap!
Awesome video
All the sprite is for a drug called lean. It’s a cough syrup with codeine and you mix it with sprite.
