My thoughts on Bercow are yours, Matthew and I was on record as LOLing at him being in the game so I'll hold my hands up that he brought more to the show than I thought possible and I did like his odd couple during the missions with Parvati. And parliamentary roundtable moments. Still glad he didn't win though!

When Sheree asked Phaedra if she was a traitor and Phaedra pretended not to hear her in a totally quiet library i knew Phaedra’s goose was definitely cooked lol

I gotta agree with David about Kate winning. When she entered the game she avoided 7 chances to be eliminated ( 9 if you count the banishment and murder of her first night as I think people were told not to eliminate her!!) so if she wins it is very unfair.

Here is the story of Sandra on survivor: In Pearl Islands (Btw my favorite season of survivor by far) she was in a very dominant tribe, at least at the beginning. They won the first 6 challenges in a row & you're not familiar with survivor, what usually happens is early on in the game strength of the tribe is important, people weed off the weak & look for any reason for them to not be the target & then later on they turn on the strong. Also alliances change day to day early on. people are finding their footing, forming bonds, etc. But according to Fairplay & others who were on that season they have claimed if they lost the 1st challenge, which was real close btw, Sandra would've been 1st boot & been a forgotten player. Ofc no one knows for sure. However, the first time her tribe lost was when they threw a challenge to pick off one of their own 12 days into the game. It was 3 vs 3, & Fairplay was the swing vote, he sided with an alliance Sandra was in & voted out their biggest challenge beast. Pass forward in the game when the tribe merge, Sandra's alliance is at the top but then is blindsided by Fairplay. Now Sandra & her 1 ally are on the backfoot. Sandra starts eavesdropping in the bushes of what the other guys are saying, calls out what a snake Fairplay is & gets other players to eavesdrop with her to flip the game. Fairplay learns of the plot that they want take out his now ally in the game Burton & challenge beast, and convinces Sandra & her ally to vote with them to vote out the leftovers. This could've ended real bad for Sandra, because Fairplay never was going to honor any of his words, so Sandra's ally gets voted soon after & Sandra is convinced she is next, so she starts sabotaging the tribe, she also sabotaged the tribe when her alliance was blindsided earlier. This could've come back to bite her, but she lied real well that she was not the culprit. However Fairplay has no intention of voting out Sandra, because he views her as weak in the challenges. Anyway Fairplays ally makes a bad decision by not promising Lil that he will take her to the final 2, she flips on him, & then they get rid of this other girl because she's a threat to win challenges. Final 3 is Fairplay, Sandra, Lil. Here is some context. The big thing with Lil is she was actually booted from the game early early on and due to a twist allowed to return. This meant that some jury members would not think she deserved to win, plus she backstabbed her tribe. (Although they voted her out first). Here is the other thing, Fairplay at the time was the biggest villain ever, backstabbed everyone and was even boo'd at the reunion. Another thing is the previous 2 or 3 winners of the show preceding Pearl islands, were not very likeable, one was very villainous and the host seemed pissed when he won. Now whoever wins the final immunity gets to choose who they take to the final 2 and a chance to win. Lil is quite old and Fairplay is scrawny but you'd imagine he could take it to an old player like Lil. Sandra never really had a chance. The challenge they played was somewhat lame, and seemed to test muscles that played into Lil's strength. Possibly one of the only challenges that she wins easily. So I could never help wondering if production, who have a track record of doing shady things, cherry picked a challenge because they did not want someone like Fairplay to win especially since, they already had 2 unlikeable players win previously. But Lil wins, her best shot to win is to take Fairplay since he made so much enemies, but she does not take him, which is strategically terrible, so again I've wondered if Production convinced her to take Sandra. Sandra wins in a landslide, she's the default option. The one vote she lost was was the one juror that asked about her strategy & Sandra answered that Lil was responsible for everyone who was booted and on the jury, this made the Juror feel that Lil was playing the game then. Also important note, Sandra did not receive 1 vote in the entire game against her. Now Prior to Heroes vs villains where she wins a 2nd time, I've never really heard of Sandra in the fandom, I've always viewed her as a pretty notable player, held herself well, strong, socially well rounded, pretty good player. This could also be because after her season there was also an allstars, only 1 person from her season attended, Rupert, she was invited but she came off with some illness or something and might've been exhausted so she was not present. Now on Heroes vs Villains, she again is on a winning tribe, at least for the first few episodes. But she seemed to integrate well into it & she seemed to shine & has a strong alliance. But due to bad moves by her alliance members, the Russell alliance takes control of the game. Similar to Pearl islands she plays with the biggest villain ever again who wants to keep her because he views her as weak. The bigger threats are targeted and they vote out all the heroes in the merge. Now unlike Pearl Islands it's a final 3, not a final 2, otherwise she most likely comes in 3rd. I guess this makes it harder for someone unlikeable to now win the game. Now the Jury was filled with very bitter players & bad losers & just bad sports. If you watched the Ponderosa videos, (aka outside game interactions of the booted, you would see). Also this was a super all star season with people with big egos. & just from my own experience in playing video games with Americans & been there & seeing how bitter people get when they lose was a culture shock to me. But they always made great tv. Anyway they hated Russell and many were bitter against Parvati too, so they ended up voting more against Russell and Parvati than for Sandra. Similar to Pearl Islands her pitch was that she never got rid of anyone, but tried to save them. So this raised a lot of debate on who really deserved to win, because many felt she was just dragged to the end. Anyway the numbers at the end are the numbers. Sandra has 2 wins. But her coming back into these shows and doing well, and being in another finale, at this point even the biggest Sandra haters have to give it to her. I can just imagine playing and not wanting to vote her out, because she would not be a threat and seems nice.

Great review. Sansra and CT for the win but I fear they're going to struggle with Sheree and mj still there.

Dan had literally everything to do with Phaedra's exit. It was obvious to everyone at that point she was the traitor, it just did not make the edit cause it's a show & they have to keep the suspense going. Then everyone piled on her from there. She wanted to play a faithful traitor game but unfortunately she was stuck with incompetent traitors, first Dan then Parvati botched a recruitment, otherwise a 3 traitors strong numbers game could've happened. She made mistakes but no fatal once, since she was never surviving final banishment no matter what & even the best winners make mistakes. Her strategy was under the radar and there was nothing she could do, once your at the top of the suspect it's over. Not sure why people would be hardstruck on the part "fun". Fun is actually good strategy, because it's a way to reduce pressure & flow with the game more. Actually as an online gamer I even remember a top guilds requirement to join was to have fun. Dan also migh't've cheated with how he exposed Phaedra because he tells Trischelle that he will give the name of one traitor. Also Dan effectively quit the game because, there was an easy way out, which was to go after Parvati, everyone wanted her gone but he voted himself out. & quitters should not be asked back. He claimed he could not win without Parvati but after the Bergie trap, everyone knew one of them or both had to be a traitor.

It's easy for us to watch the faithfuls & call them dummies for banishing Peter or assuming it's all strategy, I think there might be a % chance tethered to their decision making i.e if I'm 70% sure my friend there is a traitor and 50% sure someone I don't like much is a traitor I may go with the 50% option. But lets flip it for a second, let's say Peter did take the recruitment & was suddenly acting sweet and trying to protect Parvati & the faithfuls don't pick up on it at all. Everyone would be calling the the faithfuls dummies from their tv screens on how obvious it is that Peter is a traitor. Also according to Kevin, he believed that if you refuse a traitors recruitment you are murdered like a ultimatum, so he was puzzled how Peter is still in the game.

John saying that these one and half weeks were harder than a lifetime in politics is wacky to me. I hope that he's just being dramatic as usual.
