My last main stop in Sri Lanka I knew was going to be a difficult one. Ella is one of the tourist traps in the centre of the island, with a train that runs through the beautiful mountains and the famous 9 Arch Bridge. Despite the inevitable attack of tourists, I wanted a place to do some hiking and with the time I had, it seemed like the best choice. And after all the effort, the views were worth it.
