HelloMeli, I'm 75 and I live in Bali. I teach qigong and a few months ago, noticing a decline in my body strength, I bought some rings and started training, I've noticed a dramatic increase in my strength and stability from training just a few months. You've absolutely awakened my imagination in this video and I really appreciate how literate your presentation is. I might just have to break down and buy some rings from you the next time I know someone's coming this way from AUS because shipping things to Indonesia is such a drag. Very inspiring video.

I think it's awesome that you differentiated simply going to the gym (or staying at home) and functional training that includes both movement and flexibility. Staying healthy shouldn't be complex! It just comes down to staying active, training stability, and working to become more flexible. 💪

I'm male in 40s 235 lbs and about 9% body fat. I take a lot of different hormone compounds to "look" good but also to feel good. Some of those compounds and their quantities are absolutely riding the line of permanent injury to internal organs. I bought rings based on this one video alone. I just watch and try to duplicate. I feel so much more at peace than at the gym trying to tear my body down. I've GAINED lean mass and strength since adding your routine 2 or so weeks ago and it is fun and even spiritual. If I typed how much I added to my fly's and mil press nobody would believe it but this is the only thing I have changed. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I started working out with rings last summer and have seen incredible results, in fact never have I been able to progress to the point I am now (I have tried training at a gym with weights for a couple of years, and have trained muay thai unprofessionally for another two) but I still have a lot to learn. It never ends, but if you keep showing up, you keep progressing. I just wanted to state that while Meli's content is absolutely incredible and if you can spare the money to support her you absolutely should, if you are short on cash you can probably get wooden rings much cheaper. I got mine for less than 30 euros, I don't know what wood they're made from and to be fair her rings do look like higher quality, but the workout is the same and they still feel in my grip like the first time I grasped them. Again, I think Meli deserves all the success and support and I'm a big fan, but sadly in the world of today money is an issue and I know that someone with a similar financial situation to mine would be put off by the price. Don't let that keep you from getting a pair, these things can truly transform your health and body.

I have to say, this program seems perfect for my needs. I do several thousand mile long bike tours, so my legs are strong, but I have outrageously bad posture, core and upper body strength. This routine is perfect for me, as it combines strength training with core, and dynamic movements, yet is portable enough to bring on my tours.. Also Yoga just doesn't cut it for me, as I need more scalable progression and dynamism to be worth it. Thanks so much for this Program, I'm excited to dive in! - Alchemist Biker

If you are 95kg like I am, please please take that into consideration when hanging from DIY solutions. Or, spend the little bit of money for the wooden rings to ensure that they can hold you. Worrying about falling on your face is going to impede your growth

I've had 5 shoulder reconstructions and watching some of the movements you do with your shoulders is incredible. I have rings, both at home and at the gym but I have to be very careful with my range of motion because if I go too far or put too much pressure on a shoulder, it can dislocate (particularly my right). Also, from all of the dislocations I've had, I tend to guard my shoulder quite a bit and won't let it go past certain points...like watching you twisting and moving your arms back and behind you had me cringing. I tend to stick with machines at the gym like the smith machine because it limits my range of motion and makes the movement more stable - plus I can add the safety stops as I've dislocated my shoulder at the gym and having a weight fall on you is no fun. I've been trying to figure out ways to increase my ROM so thank you for the video.

I love this video, it answers so so many questions I've always had that were never answered in a way that satisfied me. I was anxious with the idea of 'exercising' since all the information I find tends to sound like its just based on barely tested theories. Questions like "doesn't training on machines train u only for limited movement?" "How do you workout for flexibility as well as strength without them clashing?" and those were usually answered with something like, "Just start now so u can see your body change sooner." which felt like being dragged into a cult, or persuaded to sign a contract u haven't read.

I really enjoy your content! You have the ability to transfer a certain energy, very clean, strong and empowering. Kind of energy I would love to embody someday. Sadly, I don't have the financial ressources to buy your program, but I'd actually love to! You are a role model to me and I'm thankful for the advice you share with us. Keep up the good work, truly one of a kind. Also the aesthetic 10/10

I love how informative your video is and I see the effort you put in🙏🏻 I bought your 8 week calistenics program a while ago and totally forgot about it😅 so I‘ll start with this video today to get out uf a phase of sickness an unwell being. I have a TRX, I hope I can use this instead of a set of rings. Thank you for your motivational push 💪🏻

You can def use TRX for this. That's how I started with calisthenics 4 years ago, and I progressed to rings when I got more advanced and wanted a bigger variety of exercises. Took me a while to get to that point, though, so def use the tools you have on hand first!

*instant* inspiration! i generally distain the usual "ab workouts" & upper body movements with weights. this seems like my answer to better incorporate training my entire body. thank you! next step: implement an all-in-one push/pull/ab work out ♥️
