    He was purely evil. That stuff was just the trigger for something that was already there my dude. Most people wouldn't take the path to commit mass genocide of the entire human race because of a really bad day. Soldiers lose their friends in battle, parents lose their children to murderers etc. Even with superpowers, I doubt they would start exterminating all humans on Earth because of it.

    So one thing that I think is important to note is Suguru from the start already in his own way looked down on the weak. That's why he completely dismissed the Star Religious Group as a threat, even though they were the actual threat. Before then he never considered humans as a legitimate threat. Toji and the Star Religious Group refuted that belief so strongly that the incident alone left a mental scar on Suguru. The conversation with Yuki more or less solidified what he was already thinking. If humans are a threat then why protect them? The incident that finally made him fully snap was seeing two young sorcerers openly tortured by humans. At that part because Suguru has strong feelings towards his fellow sorcerers it's kind of like if humans are this great threat, if humans are the cause of all the suffering sorcerers go through, then he wants to get rid of them. When he thinks of humans, he thinks of Toji and the Star Religious Group.

  • @MarianaBello-fq3hx
    @MarianaBello-fq3hx Жыл бұрын

    The tragedy about Suguru's mindset is the author kinda implies that he was meant to fail from the start. At the end of then sendai colony fight, Ryu tells Yuta that someone who doesn't disregard everything else can't reach the heights of Sukuna and be the "strongest". Geto was a very coletivist driven person. In the hidden iventory we can see that in the dialogue btween Gojo and Geto, Geto tends to be put on the left. Left is always associated with coletivism and right with individualism. Geto lacked a very personal reason to be a soccer, he always relied on said coletivism. However i don't think Geto's thinking was all that bad since Geto helped to shape Gojo in the man he is today. Gojo trying to protect his stundents is cleary related to his experience with Geto. Geto was cleary someone who couldn't reach the peak of power in the world of jujutsu, but this doesn't deny that part of him lives in Gojo. Geto may have lost himself, but he helped shaping Gojo in the funny and caring sensei we have now.

    The amazing thing about Geto's character was that he was always unwavering in his motivations, viewing the world in mostly absolutes. This stayed consistent; even after his tragic fall his ideals never faltered, and in a morally black and white sense he was still righteous. The only thing that changed for him was his viewpoint on good and evil; the humans were the ones who always caused these curses, forcing Sorcerers through hell. In his mind it was the sorcerers who were the weak to be protected; despite all their powers, they were forced to dedicate their lives to suffer and die for humans. When he saw the true capability of humanity in commiting evil, that was when he broke; after all how could he protect those who caused all him all this trauma. And unlike Superman, he couldn't accept the grey and complex nature of reality; he could never forgive their evil for all their good unlike clark did.

    The importance of riko and kuroi’s death… you skipped it 😢 Anyway I’m sure even if he hadn’t had that conversation with yuki he would’ve eventually snapped. That conversation just told him how to properly snap. His downfall really did begin after the star religious group applauded the death of riko, and this was the society he and Gojo were protecting and he also sleep learned to call non sorcerers monkeys from toji. Anyway pretty tragic how he only wanted for sorcerers to live happily and peacefully and be able to smile from their hearts, and I guess since they couldn’t because they had to fight cursed he decided to eliminate those who produce curses aka non sorcerers. Edit: he probably stopped believing that just because of how you’re born aka with cursed powers doesn’t mean you’re obligated to protect non sorcerers and therefore stopped seeing them as worth protecting also because they’re the ones who cause problems for sorcerers to begin with.

    The coolest part to me is that we are shown Kenjaku first, and Geto second. On first glance, they seem to have a similar concept. Both are working with curses and both seem to dislike man kind. But their motives are literally polar opposites. Geto wants a world free of unnecessary human death and likely demonizes non-sorcerer's to support his idealogy and resolve to murder non-sorcerers. His goal: world run by only Sorcerers whilst Curses go extinct. Whereas Kenjaku wants to rid the world of peace and bring back the age of pure curses instead, to allow him time to slip through the cracks and ~ create a thing. His goal and purpose: *Lawless and Demented Curiosity* no structure, just a monster stealing skin.

Then he lost his close friendship with Gojo when he came back from the dead and reached a new level of power. Then on top of that, he was burning himself out by constantly going through missions. He needed a break, maybe should have done what Nanami did and found a different line of work.

    Kindness is the symptom of strong empathy and moral values. Exposing ones soul to the evil of the world will either cause one to remain kind while truly seeing the need for his strength and kindness in his world. While some break when faced with shame and hatred of the world that makes them doubt his own convictions. Then u have the birth of a fallen hero. A broken soul who desires to change the world even at his own loss because his cause is more important than anything else. Scars shape the heart. Unfortunately some don't want to be saved but stopped because they hate themselves and the ones who they feel.are the root cause of the pain they feel.

    Good people do horrid things when they experience lack of humanity, then it's cemented when it is normalized. No if/ands/or buts; Geto was doomed to die when he began to hate people for being perceived different from him. Jujustu schooling taught him hate, and honestly; I think that's a huge contributing factor to Gojo burning it down. Gojo saw where his mentality was destined to lead when he had to kill Geto, and has to live the rest of his days knowing he contributed.

It's just like we use a conventional medical practice then we get to know that conventional one is actually scientifically proven. In this case, the whole act of getting rid of non-jujutsu sorcerers was a thing he luckily found to be the best way to deal with the problem of cursed energy. Thanks for the upload. Having recently gotten into JJK, and doing some cosplays, I totally get why it is so popular. I'm even catching up on the manga, which I don't usually do. JJK content creators like yourself go a long way in helping me enjoy the series even more! Keep up the good work. Will you go to Heaven when you die? Here’s a quick test: Have you ever lied, stolen, or used God’s name in vain? Jesus said, whoever looks with lust has already committed adultery in their heart. If you have done these things, God sees you as a lying, thieving, blasphemous, adulterer at heart, and the Bible warns that one day God will punish you in a terrible place called Hell. But God is not willing that any should perish. Sinners broke God’s Law and Jesus paid their fine. This means that God can legally dismiss their case: “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” Then Jesus rose from the dead, defeating death. Today, repent and trust Jesus, and God will give you eternal life as a free gift. Then read the Bible daily and obey it. God will never fail you.

    Suguru Geto’s tragedy and intention is why he’s a lot more likeable than Mahito. Mahito is just an @$$ who has no good qualities. And unlike Mahito (who was willing to kill Junpei after finding no use for him), he cares about the twins.

    While gojo did beat 20f sukuna he is not winning. Sukuna is a better sorcerer. He’s planned 10s from chapter 1 and it’s going exaclty as planned hence why he hasn’t said a word and is smiling even while getting hit. (There’s another reaosn for the smile I’ll let u know below). Ppl are calling him a fraud wen it’s high iq planned since the beginning. Gojo is losing and it’s becuase mahoraga wheel has been activated since the beginning. Just like with the yorozu fight sukuna let himself get hit( Ofc defending himself). This is so the wheel itself adapts then he gives the adapted wheel to mahoraga who just finishes the job. The only difference with the gojo fight is that sukuna hid the wheel in the 10 shadow cuz gojo knows about the technique PLUS he has 6 eyes. This is why he is smiling while getting hit. This is also why the wheel clicked in the 10s. It’s clearly adapting. And narrator even says what can gojo eyes see. Telling us that gojo this whole time hasn’t notice the wheel. Now sukuna has let the wheel adapt and given it back mahoraga who is going to finish the job. It’s going to be big trouble for gojo. And he’s most likely gonna lose. (Ps - this is also why he tanked hollow purple for 1 seocnd before getting out the way, so that the wheel can adapt, he could’ve easily dodged it and avoid any damage since he dodged it last seocnd anyway but he purposely wanted the wheel to adapt to purple. He KNOWS how dangerous purple is already. He was in yuji body and saw gojo use it against hanami. U see how this all adds up)

    I wish Gege would retcon some stuff in JJK 0, Geto is supposed to be on the same levels of power as Yuki and Yuta, yet he lacks so muuch of what makes them top tier, like a strong domain and reverse curse technique. He doesnt feel like nearly the threat he should in zero, especially if you read the manga, as it feels like Geto never even had a chance as long as Gojo was there despite his almost decade of preparation.
