Great video, but now that jingliu and her story quest are released, there are some small additions to make; Baiheng sacrificed herself to save Dan Feng, who was trapped in "dragon's delirium" inside Shuhu's palace, possibly because he thought he could fight Shuhu on his own. Jingliu arrived later. While Blade and Dan Feng's sin was using Shuhu's flesh to revive Baiheng, somehow resulting in Blade's immortality and the dragon abomination, Jingliu's only sin was becoming mara-struck and killing some cloud knights after seeing what Blade and Dan Feng had done. She never wanted to revive Baiheng, as she was a cloud knight and the cloud knights believe in the honor of sacrificing themselves in battle. She became mara-struck in her battle with the dragon abomination, or at least started the process of going insane, as the massive abomination pushed her to the breaking point physically and Baiheng's death and revival pushed her mentally. It's also possible that the dragon abomination manually triggered the mara inside her, as emanators can make people mara-struck at will, and Jingliu almost suffered that fate once before when Rahu and Shuhu attacked the Cangcheng. She also describes the two situations the exact same way. Fun fact, the sword Blade currently wields (and crafted) was said to be Xianzhou's strongest sword, but even with that sword Jingliu couldn't defeat the abomination. She discarded it for her current moonlight sword during the battle with the dragon, while also putting on the blindfold, and it's possible she started treading on the path of destruction in that moment. A year later is when she fought Jing Yuan, and she ended up travelling the cosmos and discovered a "solution" to both her mara and the Abundance itself, and that's why she's back in the story. She still aims to avenge Baiheng and defeat Yaoshi, but she doesn't care about the Xianzhou anymore, as the only thing left inside her is vengeance (though she's already made Blade and Dan Feng pay for their sins, so she only holds real malice towards the Abundance). It's possible she abandoned the path of the hunt for the path of destruction, or she could follow both, but there's definitely much to explore about Jingliu in the future. Her powers, her allegiances and which aeons she's aligned with, it's all so mysterious right now. Jing Yuan never sinned because he wasn't even there, he was asleep as always. It's implied he possibly knew what would happen, from Blade's voice lines, but he didn't take action, instead being his overly cautious self. He wouldn't have changed the outcome anyway, if he took action he probably would've ended up mara-struck like Blade and Jingliu, and if Jingliu didn't take action then the dragon abomination might've destroyed the entire ship. It was a lose-lose situation from the beginning.

@@fegito9206 I see why you think that, as Jingliu and Blade have quite a weird relationship with each other. It's very possible that the immortality combined with his remorse for his actions turned him mara-struck before Jingliu tortured him, but although she "gave him another chance", she tortured him for the sake of carving his and Dan Feng's sins into his very flesh. As Blade puts it, she gave him a new chance by teaching him, but she also carved his sins into his flesh so that he would never forget. She didn't want to bring him back, but rather give him a new identity, as she tortured him until only the phrase "three must pay a price" remained, and he didn't want to be brought back either. Yingxing never wanted immortality and feels intense remorse for Baiheng's death, so it seems that he and Jingliu came to a silent agreement, where Jingliu would punish him by shaping him into a blade that exists to atone for his sins, while also giving him what he wanted which was to relinquish his identity as Yingxing. If he was indeed mara-struck before Jingliu tortured him then she didn't bring Yingxing back, but she gave him a new identity as Blade, if that makes sense. So yes she brought him back, in a sense, but not really. Interestingly, Blade seems to both hate and respect Jingliu for what she did to him. Jingliu's voiceline states that Blade vows to take vengeance on her when he perfects her sword techniques, and Blade's voiceline talks about the pain she inflicted on him, but they don't show any animosity towards each other in quests. On the contrary, Blade seems to respect Jingliu, and seems grateful to her; during Kafka's quest Blade states that he needs to stay on the Xianzhou to meet someone he owes a great debt to, and this could be either Bailu or Jingliu, but he never meets Bailu on-screen. This makes me believe that he was referring to Jingliu, who gave him a second chance. So he hates her for torturing him, but he also owes everything to her for giving him a second chance to make things right. Blade also doesn't chase Jingliu across the universe like he does to Dan Heng, and there are several reasons for this, but the important thing to note is that he seems to respect Jingliu while also hating her for torturing him. It's confusing. It seems like he accepts his punishment and is remorseful, but he also hates the punishment, like we all do when we're punished. He's grateful for the opportunity to atone for Baiheng's death instead of being eternally jailed, but he also wishes he never ended up in the situation in the first place. At least that's what I can make of their few interactions and mentions.

Most likely jingliu trained blade to one day kill her and to make him remember what death is like (as to maybe keep him from being Mara struck) since blade’s emotions were essentially repressed or killed off
