The thing is Snoop had records dissing Biggie. He was laughing when Pac dissed BIG at House of blues. If he had been honest and not played both sides the fall out could have been avoided.

Losing a friend while on bad terms is heartbreaking, and Snoop Dogg and Tupac's story is no exception. It's sad to think of what could have been had Tupac's life not been tragically cut short. Thanks, @life-is-here

They were both 25 years old. We tend to forget how young that is. By today’s standards that’s still manipulable, impressionable and hotheaded young adults figuring themselves out. Let Suge rot and suffer in prison and let the other label heads have nightmares for what they did.

@@kinggill3982 . Wasn't saything athin of Pac RIP. I just don't see snoop as a dude who played both sides, that's all, Respectfully. In my humble opinion (IMO) as in like he more a mediator than a snake, someone trynma get people to get along in general as a personality trait. Didnt say ''Pac needs a mediator'. I'm talking about snoop and replying the idea he sim;ply played both sides and is this mustache twirling villain.

Snoop and Dogg Pound's trailer was shot up after Biggie went on the radio and chastised NY for letting Snoop, Dogg Pound, and 2pac (who wasn't even there) shoot a video in the city and then called on Brooklyn to "Stand up" to them. Snoop himself have spoken about this. And, if I recall, this was before "Hit Em Up" even released. Snoop and Tha Dogg Pound would then shoot a video kicking down buildings in New York. And, later, Biggie would record a diss song "Long Kiss Goodnight" after 'Pac was shot in Las Vegas, so - basically the "Who Shot Ya" scenario (Bad Boy choosing to release the song after 'Pac is shot in NY at Quad Studio) all over again. Tupac was disappointed in Snoop Dogg for not being supportive ('Pac had been supportive of Snoop during his murder trial) and being wishy-washy with his stance especially seeing as Snoop was initially down with "Hit Em Up" and even made diss songs himself against Bad Boy Records only to then go on radio and say he didn't have any issues with them - after having potentially been killed at that video shoot.
