Such a shame - and totally avoidable. From Elm Park McGhee, Quinn and Gooding years to Coppell and McDermott top flight football. I feel for Reading fans, the oldest league club with a rich heritage which has literally been p#ssed down the drain in five minutes by owners who couldn't run a bath.

Thank you. It may not be true, but most people (include myself) think he saw Reading as an asset striping opportunity. He bought the clubs stadium, will get them liquidated (which will clear all debts), then can sell the land the stadium is on, to developers, to make a lot of money!

@@TFSS Ah same old, same old. Happened (nearly) where I used to live - Southend Utd. And where I am now - Torquay Utd where again the chairman has no interest in the club, he just wants to get a land deal for housing development. These crooks need locking up! Good luck with fight.

Is Dai Yongge still the owner? i thought Genevra Associates bought Reading FC? So confused, why stay with a club where all the fans hate you.

England has a foreigner problem
