AXS Isn't really dying. It's playerbase is really good for a game lacking so many things: 1. In paid access, meaning there are probably thousands of people who want to play but just haven't bought it 2. Came out in update 0 pretty much, and they just released a balance patch only bc it was needed, and a 2nd one is coming out later 3. It's roster is extremely small compared to ABA, yet they still manage to hold a good 1 to 2k players Also as for the player count, I'm pretty sure it just depends on the regions the players are from, assuming a lot of active players are from the US, when they go to sleep, the playercount drops, but throughout the day I've seen it consistently hit 1.5k+

​@@10human7 look at point 3, other paid access games often have a gameplay loop to rely on for player count, right now this game has maybe 10-20 hours of content for most before it loses it's appeal, as by then you've got all characters, youve tried ranked, youve played with friends, etc

I genuinely don't want this game to die though, it's such a good game with visuals, it'd be a shame if it were just left in the dust, i understand how badly it needs a update/balances, but it genuinely seems to have potential

The reason Anime Showdown is dying is because of them having Codes. If you use all the codes since release you can buy around 4-5 characters which was half the roster. No need to stay and grind Pubs when I have all the characters I want

Dude, codes are not the reason. Its not hard to get money normally in this game. People just by skins anyway. It was balance.
