They could've just go all out and include the passenger van version but they don't want that because it would easily cannibalize avanza sales.

I doubt it would affect the sales of avanza. This van targets the likes of the market of suzuki carry, the chinese brands of the likes.

I think that the numbers in the center (1, 2, 3) are the top speed of each gears. For example, top speed of 1st is at 40 kph. Then 2nd is at 70 kph.

Hoping for a passenger van version. I know it may steal the market from the avanza, veloz and innova but others may prefer a practical vehicle with sliding doors. ✌️

1,2,3,4 is for gear shifting based on your speed to use its maximum torque, pareho siya sa legendary tmx 155 motorcycle na sa may speedometer may 1,2,3,4 nakalagay but if you want more fuel economy of course shift at lower speed provided the engine will not stall

The new vehicle is very interesting and very good and I would even like to buy it. My question is if this vehicle will ever arrive in Peru since I have seen them in other countries such as Nicaragua, Bolivia, among others since I would like to buy it. I'm waiting for that too. Apparently TMP has already release a panel van version as well, which leads mw to believe that the passenger van version can't be far behind.

Hoping that Toyota Philippines will produce or manufacture the Locally-built Lite Ace just like the L300 proudly made in the Philippines.

The thing that this Lite Ace must improved is that to accommodate 2 passengers alongside with the Driver katulad nang sa Carry at L300 na pwedeng Tatluhan ang uupo sa harapan. Lite Ace must also have a foglamp.

I'm concern on how it will dissipate the heat. Engines under car seat can get really hot especially with our climate

This would steal the market of suzuki cars specially if the passenger van be release here. The likes of suzuki apv, suzuki carry and those mini vans of the chinese brands. This would only have a minimum impact to avanza matket just like what others would say due to its style/looks and performance.

The 1,2,3 number that is found in the speedo meter is the RPM (Revolution per Minute)

That's for the gear option for better acceleration...

The 2-din stereo is the same stereo found in the base variants of the Hiace, Hilux, Avanza, Vios, Innova, and Wigo.

A Toyota LiteAce TDi 2.0L spec or a P-HEV variant with 4WD is great for today's world 🌍 market.

I guess the 1-2-3 in the speedometer is your rpm when you are on 5th gear. So you would know what rpm you are in when cruising. 3k rpm at 100kph seems right for the gas powered utility car. Just my guess tho.

@@xpusostomos Nope. Suzuki is different. Daihatsu is Toyota’s sister company. Suzuki manufactures only the Carry, Ertiga, S-Presso, Swift, Vitara, Jimny, Celerio, and DZire. Daihatsu in Indonesia manufactures Ayla/Agya/Wigo, GranMax/Lite Ace/Townace, Rocky/Raize, and Avanza and Veloz/Xenia. This Lite Ace is imported from Indonesia.

Isn't its competitor the Suzuki Carry? Since they are both 1.5L Gas Engines. It's not diesel, so I don't think it's competing with the L300.

@@johngo7199 good point. But I think it's pointless na to compete sa lower category. Sinakop na ng grey market vehicles yun. Multicabs from mazda, suzuki, and the likes.. Most small businesses use those kind of vehicles. Specially in visayas and mindanao areas. I may be wrong but that's what I think. Haha. 😅

Its ugly. Just sell here single/king cab pickups just like in thailand, dual cabs are just too over rated and almost all brands have them. If youre looking for something like that youd rather buy multi-cab or mahindra bolero. I doubt that could even beat the carry.
