I was like so happy that I got the secret ending then I was hella pissed that I had to start everything. Honestly though it wasn't too bad, took me like 2 hours to get back to where I was, I whooped the ass of the first 5 on that rerun, now I'm stuck on this one

Then when I recently came back to it, I breezed through all of them, even new ones like the scale and the hand and then got up to the Song so I'm taking a bit of a break rn but I know I'll get her

Her final attack is a walk in the park compared to The Burst's final attack. Bullshit orbs just flying at you from everywhere along with lines of "fuck you" and occasional instakill sniper attacks. The most bullshit boss in the game imo

Quilva In my point of view he is the most evil character. The story points towards the voice beeing the architect (the 7th boss that you cant fight). So he basically built a prison so complex for the Stranger/Rider that he managed to lock himself up. So the only way he could escape was to release the Stranger and hoping he would turn good during all the fights.

The Voice was definitely The Architect, the boss he "Took care of for you, as his end of the deal". He was probably meant to be a Guardian, but didn't want to be locked up his whole life guarding Rider, and so he broke Rider out and used him to free himself to see his daughter again.

I'm glad the Bean Man introduced me to this, it slaps.

Lorns tracks are a really cool departure from the rest of the tracks imo, that super dark muddy tone really sells the boss and his setting. Then again I'm hella into Lorns music as a whole lol

As someone who hasn't played the game, I thought you spoke as a gamer who does nothing than being locked up in his room playing video games, and who realised what an amazing world there is out there.

The two songs ‘My only chance’ to ‘Make this right’ is so fitting. Both songs have this desperate determination. The steady beats, almost reminiscent of a clock counting down in the background while the synths add the flair. It’s so good.

At 3:36 is when the song goes from good to godlike. The sound of what almost sounds like a record scratch could be horrible if handled by someone less talented than Toxic Avenger but he manages to make so many emotions spill out from that. This fight resonated with me the most because I had an abusive ex that said shit like The Song does. This track always fills me with a sense of needing to break free from her control and I can't help but get fucking pumped when the breakdown drops from 3:36 - 3:55 . I was cleaning and all of those feelings came rushing in, and I just stopped, pumped the volume, and head banged like a motherfucker to the drop.

+Daniel Biancalana cool. In the third stage how i take out her hands is i try to take them out at the same time so that the pattern of the orbs doesnt mess me up. On the 4th stage to take out her hands you have to use your charged shot which is a laser. If this at all helped im happy

The Song is an angel-like figure. She helped conceive the prison (but I don't think she conceived all the parts of the prison, just the nicer-looking parts). And she is relatively warm to you, even in the fight, right up until the last couple of phases. What gets me is that final five to seven seconds where she opens her arms, awaiting the real deathblow by The Rider. If she is really described as arrogant and self-righteous (and I can believe that is true part of the time for her), why open her arms? What's with that look in her eyes before she shuts them? Perhaps I'm reading too deeply into it or I'm missing a piece of lore; but even in her last moments... she did not seem arrogant, nor self-righteous. Not like The Voice was making her out to be.

she was slightly arrogant, at least in the secret ending with her viewing herself as her people's hero, and when you walk away from her and she says "how dare you walk away"

The Voice paints her as bad as he can because he wants The Stranger to kill her and then everyone else after, so they both can leave and The Voice can see his daughter once again

​@@YuriG03042 More accurate picture is that while she might be arrogant, she also isn't evil. She has good and kindness in her. And thats what The Voice used, this was his plan all along, not to just "Free" The Raider, but to show him the "good" parts of humanity (The Hand, The Edge, The Song, The Beat, Arguably The Burst) so that he might change and in turn defend their world against the invaders they have no chance of winning against. I think The Song had to know shes a neccessary sacrifice in order to change him

I'll never forget when I first heard this in Furi fighting her. The arena, the back drop, the colors, the speed everything with this was one of those moments I will always remember. Phenomenal game only rivaled by it's even better OST. This song still gives me chills.

That's because a couple of the artists who worked on the Hotline Miami soundtrack had their hand in it; namely Scattle and Carpenter Brut. Though I doubt I'm alone in saying those names, or at least Carpenter Brut's, drew a lot of interest in the game.

I don't know, seems really janky to me If it was several episodes of a slow paced show I could imagine it working over several hours, but I don't get the point of redoing what the game already did quite well

One of the best OST’s I’ve ever heard. The feelings I get listening to this are literally indescribable; it’s something like empowerment, excitement, and joy, but also fear and this weird mysticallity, and I love everything about it. Thank you for existing.

Listening to this while throwing yourself at dark souls bosses makes you feel immortal. Prince Lothric is boutta eat shit

Wouldn’t mind to see Rider in future games as maybe small cameos here and there. Hell, I’d give a kidney for a furi 2: electric boogaloo

Radiant Markoth might be the single hardest boss I have ever fought in gaming, including all the souls titles except Sekiro. It was not designed to actually be beatable since they just made radiant a gamemode and not a remake of the actuall boss. There was no thought given to how Markoth could go from an intermediate to an almost impossible boss if given the right conditions.

4:33 goes along so well with the cutscene of her picking you up to take you back to your cell after you lose a life during close combat with her.

This song is just an absolute masterpiece, I just can't explain how powerful that thing is and all the diferent emotions it makes me feel. The last part with nervous synths is just freaking crazy

"Give up, Rider, Even if you beat us, they won't welcome you. They'll always see you as a stranger, a danger." I really love the storyline of this game. You start with this plain evil boss, the Chain, and suddenly, as you go on, through the Strap to the odd last boss, you realise- "Hey, why AM I trying to escape?" Instead of just, "Beat the boss up. Escape." At least that's for me. With the second boss, you wonder "What? What was she trying to tell them??" And you listen to her screech. The third one, you hear that he saw the dot on the sun. But nobody listened to him. The forth, you plain feel sad for him. "Paaaaiiinn..." You wonder how did he get corrupted? And you start to kinda wonder if this might not be right. As you go on, you realise the next boss was the one who captured you, and the rabbit man (The Voice) Tries to make you angry. But at the same time, your killing a father, hence the name The Hand. The Song, you wonder, if these jailers your killing are actually kind- What are you doing? After these, you see a samurai, who seemed to wait his whole life for this battle. "Give me something to remember! Something I can learn from!" And you beat him. Then the last boss, You kill an seemingly innocent 14-year-old. And you almost destroy the world. "You really are a monster!" Yet, think for a moment. You killed so many, and are you gonna kill the world? Kill the man who helped you's daughter? Kill millions of living things? Sorry, I had to make the long comment. Furi just makes me wanna rant.

Sadly for me I behaved like a machine another boss another obsical to be demolished going again and again and again till I landed the killing blow not really a care for the diolaug just how many hits till I can move on only at the end when I saw the architect with his littler girl did it finally hit me and even though though it too me a couple hour killed the orbs every Effie where robot and I still kinda feel a sliver of remorse when thinking about it

Good song for some orbital assembly

I asked google hey google what's this song and proced to sing the Thomas the tank engine theme and this is what is suggested

The entry of this song always reminds me Funeral march. First 9 seconds are chill yet sad, you have already know what will happen with "Song". You are feel it, this character is truly want to save you, to choose another fate. But Rider is on his way to leave jail.

For anyone who really enjoy this track and the other one by the toxic avengers I recommend you watching Mutafukaz, a great French Japanese anime film with absolutely bangers from the toxic avengers.

3:36 when the synth transitions from jolly to aggresive. Good stuff

So not only is this song catchy, but the title being "make this right" associates the song with that phrase. So now I'll screw up, think to myself "whoops, let's make this right" and this song will immediately and unapologetically intrude my thoughts and get stuck in my head
