    this was my grandpa’s favorite song🤍 he died of cancer on november 8th, 2020. my mama put this song on her phone right before he passed, so twas the last song he heard on this earth🤍

    Ronnie Drew sang so beautifully ,and he and Luke gave 110% to every song they sang . So sad they both died so young ,Rest in Peace Ronnie, You're gone but not forever ... immortalised in the eyes of the World ...

    Beautiful and sad. Very handsome man - could be in movies or perhaps he was. Pandemic is allowing me time to find beautiful music. More music needed now in our uncertain times. There is LIGHT - elderly in Ireland always said so and they lived through real hard times. Slainte Mairead USA

    Oh l love Ronnie Drew what a Voice I went see the Dubliners UK your in 1991..my husband bought me the Tea Shirt,and we went backstage sadly they are all gone now as is my wonderful Husband but never forgotten❤️❤️God bless them 🙏🏻

    Ronnie was one of the greatest vocalists ever. As an American who treasures Johnnie Cash, I rate Ronnie above him. Whiskey, nicotine, and time poured over peat and gravel. That’s the one of kind beautiful voice he was blessed with.

    I THINK AS I HEARD RONNIE SING, I HEARD THE HEART OF THE REAL PEOPLE, THE ONES WHO HAD TO LIVE THROUGH THAT AWFUL TIME. I'VE NO VISITED DERRY, BUT I SEEN BELFAST, AND PRAY THE PEACE REMAINS. RONNIE POURED HIS HEART IN THAT PHIL COULTER SONG.

    Ronnie had a beautiful voice. Sure, deep and rough, but also melodious to carry a ballad like this. And I love Barney on the banjo here. His playing never claimed the spotlight, yet it would not be the same without.

    I bought tickets to a Dubliners concert for me and my grandad in 2019 but quarantine kept getting it pushed back, we should have been there over a year ago so I’m listening to almost all their songs until we can finally go
