I was saved 11 years ago at the age of 41. I have more sinful days than I do save days. I am so grateful that God led me to Pastor Allen. His passion stirs up a fire in my soul to learn more. So much so that I have decided to go to University and study God's word. I am starting at the certificate level and see where it leads too. 😊. Thank you for your passion in teaching.

Although I consider myself neither a liberal or conservative, in my opinion, the continuous opinionated commentary about liberals detracts from the efficacy of these wonderful messages. I'm learning so much, but just expound on The Word. That's what pulled me in. "If I...be lifted up......" Be blessed

I love the style of teaching and exposition and how he cited examples we can relate with in our dispensation like the liberals and politics. The word of God, when it pierces into your soul, it hurts but you need to wholeheartedly give yourself your flesh up for his transformation power to help you overcome our sinful ways so we can be brought back to him and be saved. Jesus told John’s messenger to tell him, Blessed is he who is nit offended in him. God’s words are not just to caress our ego but to shatter our Pride and reconstruct our minds to his original purpose for us. If you feel this way, you are not alone, we all felt that way until we grew more like him as we patiently and quietly learn we opened heart. May God help our nation and community and bring them to the true knowledge of Him and his only son and bring heavens will on earth. Amen.🙏

I like your videos. I saw a study involving the lineages after shem and how they may have been altered in genesis 11:10-26. According to the septuigent and the original Hebrew text, the age at which they had their sons was different by 100 years. Shelah had Eber at 130 not 30 and Eber had Peleg at 134 not 34...and so on. With the current adjustment in place, Shem would seemingly outlive many of his grandchildren.

One wonders why some scholars claim that the masoretic texts contradicted portions of the Septuagint. That being specifically from the ages being presented from Abraham's genealogy. They say that the population would not have been numerous enough to carry on an endeavor such as the tower of Babel. And they go on to say that the Egyptian pyramids couldn't have been built. I've always been a firm believer in the KJV's accuracy, nevertheless, it raises valid questions.

Love watching you Pastor Allen. I have one question, if the Tower of Babel was constructed 100 years after the flood how many people were on earth then. I have read that it took days to walk around the base of the tower. That would take many people to build, would 100 years be enough time to provide that many people from 3 brothers and their wives?

Love this detail! I would like to say that I don’t fully agree with the 100 year timeframe though. Logically, does that make sense for the earth to populate to a significant number of individuals that could even construct a tower? Looking into this further, there are other texts and witness accounts that have another 300 years between Shem and Tower of Babel and beyond that add an additional 350 years to his lineage. Looking at population growth according to Shem, Ham, and Japheth as starting point to repopulate the world, 100 years wouldn’t be enough time to populate the earth enough to build a massive tower. If apostle Paul is referencing older - original Hebrew texts i tend to lean towards the Bible version the dates are being taken from as inaccurate. The lineage is still the same but the years don’t line up when looking at it from a logical standpoint. I don’t like refuting what the Bible says but there is reason to question these specific dates because the population doesn’t make any sense.

Yes Jordan, I just watched this! I have no doubt the bible is true, but when I finished watching, I was trying to calculate, not that I'm great with math, but I looked at what was said and if Noah and his three sons had only 100 years after the flood till Babel, surely you would come up with something like 400 children or possible with multiple births, say twins 800 ect.. Then those children had children, it doesn't seem to add up to a lot of people! This is where it gets a little tricky to know the population at the time!

Pastor does a phenomenal job teaching the Word of God. If he is out in his mathematics or possibly you may be. We can still give God the glory He deserves for having a faithful steward choosevobedience to His call. Being tripartite we are infallible and sinful which then makes us prone to mistakes.. Wrong, wrong, wrong. In Genesis 10 All of Noah's Three Sons And their children, and grandchildren, we're already spreading over the world. Their accents and dialects were already in the process of changing! It was already happening! Why would God change the language of the entire world because of only one man, Nimrod. He was the only one building A temple, No one else was! God did not create all the languages of the world, He merely got them to argue with each other, to cause construction to slow down and then stop. Anyone in business knows that when people argue, nothing gets done. God did not create all the languages of the world because it would not erase the knowledge of how to build the temple in the first place!! they would still figure out how to continue even though they couldn't communicate. Don't you understand? Now, doesn't that make more sense.😊 God didn't do it because it wouldn't have worked.
