I live in Charlotte. That tower is huge up close

Charlotte will always be better then any other city because Its got the city life in it but has the gentle country folk living around it. Which evens out.

I've been living in Charlotte for a few years now, and yesterday I just went inside the Bank of America for the first time.

I don't live in charlotte but I've been there so many times it's like a second home and is diverse and has great people all through out

Dude #NickyWarm if you don't like Charlotte don't watch the videos I can assure you that out of all the cities in the U.S, Charlotte is by far one of the cleanest cities on the east coast, the 17th largest city in the U.S, the 2nd Biggest Financial Center in the U.S, and according to the 2013 census is very Diverse and has one of the highest population of young active people in the U.S and is also one of the fastest growing cities in the U.S so I don't know what city you live in but take pride in your city, and leave ours alone

Charlotte a beautiful city. I plan on moving there soon.

Theres alot of towers that stand out to me, and this is one of them 💜

As someone who is from Charlotte i like The Tower but we could def use a couple more towers

I miss Charlotte so much!!!! 😢

I live in Charlotte they are extending the light rail, man come back! I think they might add more towers too as far as I heard.

When I was a teen, me and two friends literally hopped on an elevator with a couple of construction workers and rode the elevator to the top. When we got there we could hear the howl of the wind since the windows weren’t in yet. Me being the daredevil, laid on my stomach and looked over the edge… we hung out there a few mins until I guess one of the supervisors popped out of the elevator trying to figure out who let us up there. But on the way out he gave us a nugget of info. He said, the elevators were so fast that if one of us were to jump out that window the rest of us could watch them jump then make it down fast enough to see the landing… crazy!

Aww, fond memories of the adjacent Bank of America Building in Austin on Congress at 5th Street. One rainy day, I popped inside the lobby to wait for Capitol Metro and the Securitas guard tried to bully me into leaving before my bus came. "Whaaaah, this is private property! Whaaaaah! You can't wait for your bus here". Like I'm supposed to be impressed with an abstract concept like "private property" vs the reality of not wishing to get rained on. "Private Property Is Theft"~K. Marx.

So is the Bank Amercica Tower 60 story or 66 storys

Ooh and another thing the bank of America building construction began in the late 1980's and was finished in the early 1990's @#NickyWarm since then we have built many more soo so Pls do your research before you comment

Look at those old Charlotte Transit buses. That was when Charlotte was fun. Charlotte has grown since then but, Uptown needs to be more diverse. Meaning more Uptown spots for Everyone. Regardless of color. That's a real city. Like New York or Atlanta.

It always amazes me that these corporate CEO giants can spend so much money on projects they think are unique. Yet in this case, Cesar Pelli just sold them Cleveland's Society Tower (now Key Tower), with a different crown on top. I wish these guys wouldn't let the architects get away with that.

meh,a lot of its height on the top is just spire.if the building didn't have its "crown" on top it would lose a significant portion of its height. nothin really special.

You just had to make a hater statement like that didn’t you? News flash smart guy. Just about every skyscraper in the world has some sort of rod or sphere on top that add to the height. @@eaglei0n news flash smart guy,a lot of skyscrapers have flat top ceilings,the WTC before 9/11,and Houston's JP Morgan Chase building and Wells Fargo Plaza come to mind (all taller than your "skyscraper" in Charlotte,NC btw). The video just made it seem like it was the new Empire State Building lol😂

WroughtIronMGTOW lord have mercy dude. One of the buildings of The World Trade Center had a rod at the top. Most skyscrapers do. But your comment that that building gets a lot of its height from the crown was silly. I live in Charlotte. You can see that building for miles. Not just the crown either. And nobody said it was like the Empire State Building and nobody wants it to be the Empire State Building. This building was a major symbol of growth to this city and since then Charlotte has grown to the 16th largest city in the country. It doesn’t have to be the tallest building in the world in order for the developers and the city to be proud of it. If you can’t appreciate it then that’s on you. I guess there is always going to be a hating naysayer anytime people want to be happy about something. I guess on this post, that would be you.

@@eaglei0n lol you're funny you're comparing an antenna added at a later time onto the top of the North Tower to the oversized spire in Charlotte's building.thats a first for me and I've heard some dingers before lol.So what that you can see it for miles.I can see hills,mountains,and ridges as well for miles.big wow.sorry this building is just another gimmick building that tried to add height to it to make it seem taller than it is.

WroughtIronMGTOW you misses the point. I said most skyscrapers have an antenna. The crown on the 800ft building does not even make up for 50 ft. Even if it wasn’t there the building would still be Over 800 ft. Which still makes it one of the tallest between philly and Atlanta. Your assumption that the developers needed a 30 ft rods at the top of a building to make it look bigger is idiotic. There are MANY skyscrapers in major cities that are even shorter than this one that have all types of pyramids and unique architecture at the top to add to the buildings appeal. It’s a tactic that architects use all over the world. It has nothing to do with the height of the building. It’s a simple google picture search and it’s easy to see. It’s hard talking with haters that think they know when they obviously don’t. I’ve lived in NY visited philly Chicago, LA and many MAJOR Cities across the country and trust. This building is far from a gimmick. But I’m expecting you to comment back with more stupidity so ima just leave it here. You can’t fix stupid. I’m done here.

The most fastest growing City in USA more buildings is going to be added in the city its the 17th largest city Charlotte have over 100 million people now and the city is never going to stop growing its becoming to be a major city in some years man i love my city 704 Charlotte
