So, it was great to follow your super coverage of the trek through that wonderful countryside. I am only sorry you didn't have the sunshine on the last day. But that's the mountains for you. Nice, that's the best way to do it. The refugio's are nice to stay in but expensive. Plenty of places to wildcamp once high up & out of sight

Great video series. Brings back memories. I had rain through the last two days of my tmb and skipped the flegere ladders because of that. You made a wise decision not going 1500 meters down in the rain.

Well done completing the CWT! Tbh the gear I took is largely the same as my Coast 2 Coast gear vid. The Tent I took (trekkertent stealth 1) i will be doing a video on shortly. If you have any particular gear questions just pop me a message 👍

Well done Darren, I plan to walk the TMB next year so it was very useful to watch your journey especially as I plan to camp too. It would be useful to know what kit you took with you and how you got there from the UK.

Great series! I’m starting on July 22nd this summer and it’s good to know that refugees have beds in case I don’ t want to set up camp. I was wondering what kind of hoody’s you wore on the trail (long sleeves) in the blazing sun? I saw they ware from Rab. Please let me know

Yeah I got lucky with refugio's maybe due to late cancellations? The Hoody is the Rab Pulse which has been renamed Rab Force. It's a brilliant bit of gear

Lixada 10w portable solar panel. I found it worked well to charge my gopro. It doesn't work well charging a phone though
