I only do races lol , that’s how I lost my class A but I’m about to get it back

I celebrated my C license last night and spent 60$ on some new tracks and bought the *Porsche 911 GT3 (992)* as a new driver, I've never driven anything with this much power that needed to be respected in and out of the corners, that responded to trailbreaking the way this car did. Needless to say took me over an hour to even get a clean lap done in, before I could even start to think about speed. This car respectfully reminds me just how deep the rabbit hole goes in iRacing. Getting profficiant in MX5 or McLaren 570s GT4 does NOT prepare one for a Porsche GT3 lol.

(Hahah) that dude puts me in a good space. I discovered him because I watched you race him in an MX5 last month sometime.

Dave, this is so realistic! It's the first time I've seen a sim racer get injured! You should be glad you don't have wind simulation, otherwise you'd be covered in blood. Great video, with all due respect I laughed my head off :-) A bit of swearing and blood makes this a success. Your views are going up while your safety rating is going down. Happy racing with a blooper now and then... 😂🎉

PCup is tons of fun, I do ovals primarily but always sneak in a few PCup grids per week. Good series for VR too as the races are short.

Hell of a battle Dave but you ran a good one. Got your challengers to over cook it in the corners.

Sebring is my favorite track! Ironically it was the second track I raced on iRacing a little over a year ago. Thought I would never last. I’m not amazing but Sebring makes me feel like I can stand a chance out there.

Brutal combo for sure. At least there was no rain.lol I'm struggling with brake bias when wind conditions change. Do you have any rules of thumb for bias when going into the wind, with the wind, cross wind etc? Some drivers seem to have figured it out and I'm not one of them.

I did this race, obvisouly a T1 crash but besides that it was a heap of fun!!

Tough combo. I'm doing Senbring tonight in a league race but thankfully not at night in a Porsche. Instead in a Rari 😅

It's not the best driving simulator money can buy but it does have the closest racing you can find out there. There is a lot of "free" content (subscription needed to play) and those races see some of the best action. The faster cars and different classed races is where you will start spending money to unlock content.

i was on the fence just like you until one day i said fuck it im gonna try it out for a month and now i'm going on 7 weeks and i've been loving every minute of it. i'd suggest trying it out for atleast one month

Your headlights are far brigther than mine. Is there a Option? Or how do you get this brightness in Night?

No options for brightness of the lights as far as I'm aware. You running HDR? If not, maybe that?

Had this issue myself last week at Le Mans. It was light driving in the dark at points. Had to turn up the iRacing brightness a bit. Very odd.
