Scenes like this are exactly why this film is an 80s, action, and martial arts classic.

The idea of bloodsport might be fake but the story and frank deux is very much real. Also the fact that bolo young was in his 50's in this film and one of the very few that actually got to witness Bruce Lee's true speed

@@upstatearms4dude, Frank Dux was a real person, but the story was a lie. He never fought in any kumite, he was never a grand champion at anything other than spewing bullshit. And Bolo was not in his 50s in Bloodsport. For the love of God, educate yourself before speaking on a subject.

Those men asking him to prove who his Master is had his best interest in mind. They didn’t want a guy who couldn’t compete to die. It was actually very thoughtful of them. Of course, he could compete and he proved it.

It's funny and symbolic what Bolo says to Jean Claude van Damme "Very good but bricks not hit back" is similar to what the late Bruce Lee said in his movie "ENTER THE DRAGON" 'Boards don't hit back' if you all recall that popular scene 😂 I believe this movie was paying homage to that particular scene.
