The Tortoise, the Dog, and the Farmer is an authentic African folktale from Nigeria, West Africa. It tells the story of the tortoise and the dog, and how they tried to survive in the midst of a famine in the animal kingdom. The dog succeeded, and the tortoise wanted to know his secret.
