    Glad I'm not the only one that likes the interior of these cars. The ergonomics are nice. Everything is pointed towards the driver in true cockpit fashion. I miss these kinds of interiors.

  • @TheFrost7092

    @TheFrost7092

    7 жыл бұрын

    yeah I'm a really big fan of interiors that are not over complicated. nice large buttons that are easy to push while driving don't need to take your eyes off the road. a/c and heat controls are very simple. And when people complain that it looks cheap, for me simple is better. the plastics are a little hard but they last which is what i like.

    In Cali you can find those on used car lots well taken care of with the LS1 and 4L60E w/ 50K-70K miles for around $12K on average.WIth all the LS and 4L60E aftermarket it's not that much to replace engine and trans. Those cars weigh about 3,400lbs and with 325 horsepower you can keep up with almost anything on the road. Not much will easily pass you unless they have 500+ horsepower.

    i like your cold air setup.. however, i do prefer the ram air hoods.. true that there are alot of aftermarket parts for them.. always something you're thinking about adding sometime in the future.. but yea great looking cars with great motors.. mine is a soft top and has a cpl like sub frame connectors wielded underneath the belly of it.. my guess is the hard or t tops don't come like that

  • @TheFrost7092

    @TheFrost7092

    Corrie Brown yeah the ram air hoods are a better set up, my car came with that intake on it already from the previous owner and I have subframe connectors on my car as well that I added they are a ton of fun to drive and build.

    Hey man, good review & nice car, I have a 2002 SS convertible and It handles like crap. I have been told that the lower control arm bushings go bad causing this to happen but it also has 305 45 17 tires on it that wander all over the road. I know you arent happy with your tire size because of the diameter but I wouldnt go too fat in the front so you can avoid the issues I am having. Ill get those bushings replaced and see if it makes a difference in the handling, not for sure that is the whole problem though.

  • @scottwilson599

    hey welcome to the F body Family dude I have the same car except with the automatic transmission but I have Bilstein shocks on the front and I'm looking for some really good cheap ones for the rear it will end or really damn well if you get Bilstein shocks all the way around and you forgot to mention since Mid Engine and it sits lower than the newer cars and it handles better on corners
