Fun fact, the original Jurassic Park has the least amount of dinosaur screen time out of all the movies in the franchise, only 15 minutes of it, but every time they are on the screen it's incredible and better than the dinosaurs in the other movies. Quality over quantity.

I was 13 when the original Jurassic Park came out. I remember sitting in the theatre watching it when the T-Rex first gets out of the paddock. That roar. I'm 41 now and I've had very few movie going experiences that gave me the sense of awe and the chills similar to that moment. I was obsessed with dinosaurs at that age. I think I saw the movie about 11 times in theatres. I've always loved this series. Can't wait for the new one.

@@slyfer3k Agreed. I dragged my parents to see it in the middle of winter in 1993. I needed them to see it and feel what I felt. They liked it but I don't know if the experience was the same for them. There's something about being a dinosaur obsessed 13 year old seeing that movie for the first time that's special. I probably would have seen it more than 11 times in the theatre if they hadn't stopped showing it. It will always be special for me. Sounds like it's the same for you.

My favorite part of the t rex is when he roared when the banner that said "When Dinosaurs Ruled The Earth" came off

I don't know why, but even though they're rendered in more detail now, the old CGI T-rex feels like it has weight and volume to it and isn't just floating around.

It’s to do with both the direction and the overuse of CGI in the new films. The originals knew how to balance CGI and animatronics to achieve an almost perfect realisation. New films just use CGI for everything and it makes them looks so much worse. A similar thing is noticeable with The Hobbit films compared to the original LOTR films that looked so much better

The difference in quality and tension between the Jurassic Park scenes and the Jurassic World scenes is staggering. I will never understand why the writers and directors of the Jurassic World movies felt like they had to dumb down the material to the degree they did.

Spinosaurus da bir T-rex kadar güçlü değildir..Ve dişleriyle ağız yapısı o dönemin sadece dev balıklarını avlamak içindi...Diğer dinazorlara zarar verebilecek bir çene yapısına sahip değildir..

jurassic park used to be thrillers. now its just its a cgi nightmare mixed with some good acting. idk maybe im biased but i loved the horror elements the original had. it really made you feel something. terror, which is what you should feel when the characters on screen are facing something beyond their comprehension, is just not the same in JW. imho

i love t-rexes

I love the scene where the Rex chases Ian! It was shot beautifully. The lighting is awesome and eerie , no background music needed, you see the whole Rex’s body next to Alan and Ian and it makes you realise how big of an animal she really is! The jeep chase is another great one, I always like to remind myself how this was Ellie’s first introduction to Rexy. I would’ve probably screamed as loud as her if a dinoasaur that size was catching up to my Jeep😂

Not to mention, Laura Dern who portrayed Ellie did a fantastic job of showing some genuine fear and terror in herself as the T-Rex get real close, as if it seemed real.

I was seated in 3rd row from screen in theatre. Literally shivering.

Compare the special effects of Jurassic Park and Jurassic World and you'll see it barely changes. 1993 and 2018. Jurassic Park is really badass with its amazing effects for the time! ❤️

It’s better in the original Jurassic Parks imo because they used a combination of CGI and animatronics, rather than just CGI (which always looks like CGI imo)

Anyone else binge watching Jurassic Park content?

No matter what dinosaur they make....rexy will always the best

Would love to see a battle between Triceratops and T rex in Dominion but I doubt that will happen, anyways let's hope Dominion will be a memorable one 🙂

@@xomania2352 but they showed it in the prologue, the fight should have last longer, if you are talking about cloned giga vs cloned rexy then I am not sure because there was no confirmation whether a giga was cloned or not

@@anishchoudhury8537 Yes I'm talking about the clone one because in the prologue that we know it, is that the Giga has won against the T-Rex and died so as for the modern day of Rexy and Giga, we'll see in the final battle but hopefully Rexy will get her chance to win this fight tho

This dinosaur is freaking awesome! Next, we need to see Blue and the Spinosaurus!

Huh who knew rexy could be so awesome 🤔

When i saw this for the first time at its original showing in theaters, Nothing Ever So Impossible Looked and felt so real. It was Awe inspiring and for the first time ever, it made you feel as if you were really there going through the awe and terror with the actors. Today its hard to realize JUST how amazing the original was compared to what came before. Its still amazing today, but back then it was a wonder to behold.

Prefer the Spino, but amazing!!

Wow, I never notice ian flying in the toilet scene in first Jurassic Park.
