Jimi, the spoon is an excellent option when the largemouth are chasing shad! Also, two days ago, I experienced a 15 minute feeding frenzy. Grabbing and tossing a white fluke, I caught 4 bass in about 10 minutes. They hammered the thing when it hit the water! My toughest job in that moment was deciding where to throw it since the water was churning in every direction. (And then it ended as quickly as it began).

Claude “Fish” Fishburne once had 8 BASS on at the same time. They came up in a jump next to his boat, and he proved a point that the lure doesn’t matter in a frenzy, it’s kill and eat. Period. He picked up a Spook first, hooked up, laid the rod down and put his foot on it. Picked up a fluke, same. Picked up a crankbait, same. Jig. Worm. Rattletrap. Spinnerbait. He literally had 8 bass on hook at one time. ON FILM!!
Coves were loaded with balls of shad where I was Thursday. Water in low 70s. Fished mostly spinner and buzz bait with some luck. Back at it Monday. Gonna rig up some additional options. Good video...Matt's jerk bait on light spinning gear is intriguing.

Appreciate it! He and Randy both are for the light tackle with jerkbait. I did attempt it some this last winter.
So I have a buzz bait and it keeps running on its side is there any way I can fix that or my sample way to fix it to get a new one but I'm cheap so I don't want to spend money
