I respect every show on collider, but most are news oriented. This is why I think this is the best show on the channel. Loved it since the May of last year, love it now.

The Karate Kid(2010) remake is the most unnecessary remake. It doesn't even have Karate, it has Kung Fu.

I actually watched the remake first and enjoyed it (minus the biebdr song) but then watched the original couple years after and realised it's much better than the remake

But at least it's a well constructed film. The Karate Kid story has timeless themes which can be retranslated in different times (80s to 2010) and location (California to Hong Kong...I think it was Hong Kong). And if you're going to remake The Karate Kid and take liberties with the karate part, Jackie Chan is the perfect pick. ...and to be clear, I think I've only seen the remake once, and I've probably seen the original over 50 times.

I'm just now starting to binge these episodes and wow, loving what I'm watching here. Only thing that sucks is that I know the show isn't on anymore, wish Collider would bring it back

This has quickly become must see viewing for me. Love this show.

Rocha is one of the best to watch each week and to see him come up more on Movie Talk and other shows along with Top Ten is fantastic. This show like others have said is one of the most enjoyable so congrats and thank you for the content.

Love this concept as a KZread show. Also, John/Matt keep the compromising entertaining throughout. Great job guys!

This was so entertaining. I know the "Red Shirt guy" from other Collider Video segments, but this duo is amazing. Matt Knost is hilarious. They definitely have chemistry together and it WORKS. I laughed so hard. On another note, they know their stuff (at least what is horrible ideas for remakes). I am hooked on this show, only after watching one episode. I will watch the two previous episodes, now and you now have a faithful follower of your show. Great addition to Collider Video. Thanks.

The musical score for the original Halloween helps make that movie what it is just as much as Myers himself. One of the most effective scores in cinematic history. Right up there with Jaws, The Godfather, and Star Wars.

I come for the topic, I stay for the rapport. You guys are the best. Knost's razor sharp wit is always entertaining. Makin' Oscar Wilde look like Kim Wilde at times. And Rocha's Cine-Files podcast is the bomb. Informative and entertaining. Get on it folks!

I think Horford was a great signing, he'll fit perfectly with Stevens' system. I was hoping Ainge would be able to steal Butler from you but now I hope he doesn't overpay for one year of Westbrook. I think Rondo will make Wade and Butler much better, but one of them needs to learn how to shoot 3's

It's crazy to think Charlie and the Chocolate Factory has a higher rotten Tomatoes rating than Gladiator, Braveheart, and Forrest Gump

The Thing (2011) is really more of an unnecessary prequel to my all-time favorite remake which is The Thing (1982). I did like the Howard Hawks original The Thing from Another World, but for the remake Carpenter really did it right!

The only movie I've seen from their final list is Charlie and the Chocolate Factory. Pretty much one of the only Top 10 shows where I'm glad I haven't seen the movies they're talking about.

A few on my List: Manchurian Candidate, Flight of the Phoenix, The Longest Yard, Heaven can Wait, also Edgar Ramirez in "Carlos" is his best work excellent, thanks for another great Show Guys!!

Don't forget about your fans who was with you both from the beginning haha... glad it's starting to blow up now!!

My top 2 would be Point Break and Total Recall. My two favorite remakes are The Thing and The Fly. Both original movies are classics but the remakes amp it up.

I think I love this show, I mean I only got into it recently but now I feel like I NEED to watch it. Frigging loved all the punting. Oh and I'm looking forward to Simian Uprising too! XD

Loved the show. Great list. Can't wait to see what you guys come up with next week. I cried a tear when I saw your final list because of all the wasted time I spent watching those crappy movies that shouldn't have even been made.

I respectfully disagree about Total Recall being Verhoeven's best movie. IMO that honor goes to Robocop, which I consider a "perfect" movie. Total Recall is damn good though. BEFORE seeing Chappie, I would have said Blomkamp was the right director for a new Robocop movie. Great show guys!

Mostly because I don't remember laughing quite as much ^_^

The Evil Dead (2013) is the first that comes to mind. It's a movie that had all the ingredients to succeed, but the script; the original managed to err on the side of 'well, that can be', while the remake has scenes like Eric stupidly, pretty suicidally so, continuing to read the book, or the fact that the main heroine is more wooden than the trees in the woods nearby the cabin, which make me think 'why did we need this?'.
