You are an extraordinary student. Thanks
I speak English well, I was born in England. it's lovely to listen to you teach English in this way. Thank you ,its such a pleasure as I worried about it a lot when it wasn't spoken or even taught correctly. This the first time I have found a great You Tube video that does this in such great detail.
As an advanced speaker I find this quite helpful to better understand vernacular speech.
Very easy to follow! I love it
I absolutely love all your videos! I simply can’t take my eyes off them. A perfect teacher - that’s what you are!

I really like the content of your videos, but in my opinion the music is too loud compared to every other sound in them. Thank you for your work, it is a great video anyway!

Curious, I googled the words of the first film. So I found it was Brief Encounter from David Lean. Next step: buy the David Lean box, and I have just watched the film. Marvelous film, great actress, ... Thank you so much for letting us discover it Gideon!

LetThemTalkTV Well, once you have the school, the name makes sense, but I am studying daily, searching for new videos and only today I could find you. The reason can be because of the expression I am using to search. I started with "British pronunciation" and I did not find any of your videos. Recently, I am trying to use different words to search to find new materials, even "British history" to practise. Today, I cannot tell you what I was writing and accidentally I found one of your videos.

Great video. Thanks! Question: Tip number 10 says "Learn words with 'missing' sylables". Isn't the last word spelled with two Ls: syllables.
The music sounds louder than your voice! Fix it please! Thanks for your lessons.
Plz share us as per as possible weak form
One of the weirdest added consonants is the R in “draw-R-it here”, “lift your jaw-R-up”
Cheers! Stay mellow!
pleaaure as always, and welcome to Scotland where the rrrr can be somewhat more rolling!
Oh good old magic ‘e’. Sadly using that expression went out of favour when the literacy hour hit primary schools around the turn of the century.
thankss
I lived longer than a year in UK but it seems clearer now how to pronounce (I think) proper English (British).
Good job , useful to many. But the text at 4.07 (time) should be 'íts'' and not '' it's
thanks for the video. In #10, you spell syllable as "sylable"

Nobody has replied to your post as they don't know what you mean. I happen to know the meaning of the above idiom: you're accusing Gideon of being a fibber and inventing some of the examples. You apparently haven't had enough contact with (British) spoken English. Believe you me, I've heard many a time instances of the "liasons" that Gideon mentions :-)
Trinidadians do word linking alot
Its a first time I got why I ve to pronounce psychology without P
very nice content but the masterisation of the sound is upsetting...The little ''song'' in between sections is way louder than the speech . I have to put the sound on loud and when the song comes it wakes the dead would be nice if you could at least turn down the sound for the song
Speling and pronunciation is quite different or much different )

Your videos are great! Thank you!
I do wish people would not keep claiming that this kind of pronunciatiation is"British" English. It is English as spoken by some people in the southeast of England, in other words by only a fraction of people in the UK. It would be far more honest to present it as a regional accent than to mislead learners into thinking that everyone in the UK speaks with this kind of accent.
👍🏻
Oh! I'm going to be a British Argentinian 🤭🤣
Really good ,helpful channel but................................................................... this music is HORRIBLE !!!!!!! and is too loud!!!! :(((((((((( is no chance to put film in the background during the day. every time you need to be ready to turn down the music !!!

Oi im British too
begining of video , i ve heard u say eng'LISH.
I admire your work. You're a good teacher but, though I like British language I don't think it is intelligent. It would be perfectly possible to use the same pronunciation to both verb and noun. The position or context is enough to show the meaning. In my opinion, English should be simplified, considering that is almost universal language in this particular historical moment. Thank you very much for your useful attempts to make clear a language that has infinite exceptions and leave crazy.

Language should not be pre-decided in order to be alive, rules come after its use and not vice-versa.
0:04 Why would anyone want to sound like those in ancient films, with such an antiquated accent? Even you do not :) 'I'm so glehhd'

I think it's because sounds so pretty, where are u from? learn american or british accent?
What about PH? How to pronounce the PH for example in the name Stephen? PH replaces F but for some weird reason everyone says Steven. That doesn't sound correct. I think the proper pronunciation should be Steffen.

Produce.
and if there is a french word the british will emphasise the wrong syllable: e.g., BERet... is that because of an ancient rivalry or poking fun?
You have Bretish accent. But I notice that you don't pronounce the letter (T) at the end of words such as #That #Lot #What. Why????
So, dude, dont you answer any questions asked here?
