Imagine being only 2 years old in 1993 and your favorite album ever was released in March of that year (The Cranberries debut) and a few months later your favorite movie was released (Jurassic Park). All those frames, those scenes, the soundtrack and the dialogues, all of it is deeply nostalgic and endearing to me

Yeah - I love Short Cuts from Robert Altman - it's one of his best films(my favourite is The Player), incredible cast and the way it just shows a slice of life in LA from the early 1990s - in all its chaotic and very messy glory. I'd probably add both Shadowlands and The Remains of the Day - as I think they feature two of Anthony Hopkins' finest performances, as well as being very compelling dramas.

White ppl seem to overlook a lot of great movies.. not even trying to be racist.. because I'm not. But you were raised differently. And your choices of great movies are definitely great. But there are much more that I feel is overlooked that has more to do with black culture. And tbh... It's very hard to find someone on KZread with the same idea of movie choices as I have. As most seem to be Caucasian.. but yet you all still have wonderful movie choices. I just wish movies like (Radio) or (The Program) and ECT was suggested in you all's choices

(1) I can't find a 1993 film titled "Radio" on IMDB. Are you thinking of the Cuba Gooding Jr. film from 2003? (2) "The Program" is a 1993 film, but it wasn't particularly well received at the time (Wikipedia quotes one critic as saying it was a "load of feeble, unimaginative material," but others like Roger Ebert offered it mild praise), and currently only 43% of critics on Rotten Tomatoes rate it positively. It didn't make much money either. (3) What's "ECT"?
