I'm guessing that it is because there is "nothing new under the sun". I'm guessing it is tough to create a scary monster that is 100% original. Plus, studios have learned that many people "want" familiarity. And maybe some other reasons.

I actually think it's because these effects houses are using the same or similar physics and graphics engines, and have templates for bodies ie muscle and bone structures, and it's infinitely easier to take something that has already been done a bunch of times then creating your own creature and underlying musculature and animations.

That jump he made for his daughter was the most amazing scene in the whole movie... This movie is a lot more intense than i expected...

These creatures are a near exact description as to what shows up in the bible both in Joel 2:2-11 (KJV) and Revelation 9:1-19(KJV) I believe these prophecies will happen and that those two passages are speaking of the same creatures, same event... And I'm just glad I wont be here, God removes his people (the rapture) and lets just say if I were here I would want a bunker that's impenetrable like a mile below the surface of earth and have enough supplies for 7 years...

Just watched it. One of the best sci-fi action movies I’ve seen in years. It was tense, full of action and very emotional. And I like how it ended, I suspected a different ending and glad I was way off. The acting is really good. Especially from the main actress. 10/10

I usually don’t expect anything good from Amazon Originals but this movie turned out really good! Like the storyline and the characters. Chris Patt did a good job for his character! Well done 👍🏾💯

Last movie I ever saw with my Dad before he passed...will always have that special memory. Great movie 🎬

Best movie ever. I’ve watched twice now and can’t get enough of it. It is completely different from expectations. It is completely different from other movies. It is exactly what a war in real life would look like. The guns are not made a joke of. It is absolutely brilliant. If all movies are like this. Il never get enough. There is other words but brilliant. Beats marvel dc and all other movies made in years. I been dying to find one more good movies for about 10 years now. And this did it. This is exactly how action should look like. I am sick of other movies making jokes out of guns and army. This fits the word satisfying like a glove. I had the option to see fast and furious or this. I dint think twice to watch this instead. I am seriously satisfied I can’t express

I passed on this for ages because I thought it looked lame. It's actually a BADASS movie. It's bloody epic, funny and thrilling. Seriously surprised.

unless they go with a time traveling philosophy like the MCU. i.e. going back to the past won't effect your past since it's already happened. What's done is done.

The premise is so absurd though that the character arc overtakes the story.....and it goes to show you can have the most CRAZY STORYLINE IMAGINABLE but if you don't have fleshed out characters it falls flat. This did not I genuinely cried at one point. KUDOS for making this more then a generic alien invasion film and making this a GREAT STORY!!!!

doesn't matter what the critics said about this movie, personally I loved this movie. The cast is great, VFX are awesome, everything is awesome in this movie. every si-fi movie lover would definitely love this movie without any doubt.

Loved the movie. Watched it with my grandfather who doesn't really speak English so I really appreciate that they have subtitles in my language. And he was able to understand the whole thing.

Gee, you think he'll run into his daughter in the future and later finds out that the people of the future will mislead why they're fighting? I hope I'm wrong and I want this to be good but looks hella predictable.

Aliens prometheous... SMH. Aliens Covenant... SMH 2. Only good ones were Alien 1&2. You really think Tomorrow War wasn't better than the majority of the Alien franchise. Predator was garbage too except for the first one and maybe Predator on the predator planet.

I wish they added another 4 hours. This film is so good

I'm not really into CGI but they did a smooth job on this. Also the sounds in this movie are pleasing. From the aliens to the weapons up to the time portal. If you like sci-fi and aliens then you should definitely watch this. Can't wait for the sequel!

When they warn humans that an alien invasion is coming, doesn’t that alter the future already, they should just prepare for it right?

That's what I was thinking... wouldn't it be more effective to warn them ahead of time, and prepare them for the future rather than take conscripted people into the future that is already wrecked? Who knows... maybe they will explain why in the movie.

But I agree, would be better to abandon their future as traveling back in time alters/branches the timeline and Earth is already lost since they said "All humans are extinct". Would be better to use their experience to prepare.

It’s a massive plot hole yes. They could have just brought back their future tech and planned ahead heavily. Kinda dumb af to take people from the past to fight in the future. It’s incredibly stupid.

Theories that seem reasonable: - The answer as to why they don’t go back further in time will be that you can only go back to when time travel was invented and it just has. - The invention of time travel will be the reason for the invasion. - The blonde woman will be his daughter. - The time travellers will be the bad guys.

I saw independence day and stargate back in 96. Ever since that for years I've been saying that's the best Sci fi movies ever. This one is a contender. Those aliens were giving out orders in a fight. One tear off its arm to stop the poisoning and much more incredible witty moments there.

I loved this movie..felt like i was back in the 90s..straight to the point

I finished Invincible. This was pretty incredible. Whenever I heard about it all I heard is how brutal it is but it's much more than that. It has so much heart with The Best fucking characters and a fantastic Cast. Just heard season 2 and 3 will be a thing so I'm excited.

This movie was actually really good the ratings don’t do it justice
