@@cueclue Thanks for the information! This selection of music is really spot on, fits well with Tokyo's image of being the high-tech city. It is as if Tokyo is whispering Clair de Lune while bidding farewell to all its friends, telling us how much friends are welcomed, and how much they will be missed when the games are over. Really my favourite moment our of the entire Olympic!

I miss this Olympics so much🥺 It wasn't the way we wanted it to be, but it was still exciting. Excited for Paris 2024🇫🇷♥️

so excited? are you serious? watching it but feel no true joy at all in the ceremony. But they (dancers and singers) had tried hard indeed! thanks. Probably because of no audience, the pandemic and the hard cardboard beds the athletes slept.

A thank you to Tokyo for making the Olympics games happen for all the athletes. It was an exciting time. And I look forward to Paris 2024.

I love the Olympics cause they help people to show who they are to the world their helping the heart heroes and i hope to see more olympics soon in the future to show the world a person true potential

I miss the Summer Olympics and Paralympics. It brought something to look forward to each day in my country’s lockdown. I enjoyed the Beijing Olympics and I’m looking forward to the Winter Paralympics but most especially, Paris 2024.

I will never forget the song "東京物語Tokyo Story" that started the closing ceremony. Some people may feel that because of this song, the atmosphere seems "gloomy" or even "negative" (阴间). But it seems to me that after the world has experienced a catastrophe, we can no longer pretend that some things never happened especially life and death. In the face of life and death, something we've been dealing with for the past two or three years, the emotional changes we go through are not as simple as the movie the song comes from. About the movie, about the pandemic that is about to pass, about life and death, more than anything, I feel that although the future will be unpredictable, but hope still exists. Thanks to this song, I can have the space to digest my inner empathy. That's my interpretation, but I'm not sure if others would have a similar view to mine. And I would also be very happy to see other your thoughts in the comments.

The plague is not over. Who can make an opening ceremony colorful and cheerful? I don't think the Japanese will.

The company specialises in musicals and revues (another form of musical theatre) and it's been active since the early 1900s.
