Thank you for being such a good storyteller. Makes it so much easier to get invested into these players and their journeys.
Two best players of year 1 imo, really fitting event before Akuma and the patch
Thanks for the breakdown, as a new player to sf6 its great having some background knowledge on the fighters a mini history of them and recent performances when you're running through the matches
My 58yr old boomer Dad reached Silver today 🎉 His online modern Ken is fearless. His strategy contains nonstop od dp and di in neutral and no acknowledgement of mistakes or adaptation desires, which drives his opponents mad. I am so super proud of him! ❤
I LIVE for these tournament breakdowns
Mena RD is the absolute GOD of SF6, the level of consistency is unmatch, no other Blanka player can't replicate what he have done and have a pocket Luke that can match almost all the best Lukes in SF6, no one can't deny it, and coming from been dominant in SFV as well....most of the best SFV players haven't adapted this well....Tokido and Punk are kinda struggling, Du, we can't even mention IDOM (Poor man need LAURA and POISON DESPERATELY), only Gachikun, Fuudo, Angrybird, Chris Wong and Big Bird are close to his level......I pray Akuma is GOOD and Tokido can pilot as good as he did in SFV because HE NEED IT, if he wants a chance to beat Mena again.........and poor Punk man, he might do well un US local scene tournaments, but when it he really need the W he keep choking.
These videos are so great. Its obvious that a lot of time and effort gets put into them and it is much appreciated
Menard is going to raise the bar, i feel like his performance will be a incentive to many players to also gring like crazy
I love this recaps, love hearing Brian's passion!
Lexx was killing it into top 4s at NLBC in 2018-2019 era, if I'm remembering correctly.

Menas trademark chop gets me hype everytime. Light work for the big man.
What a way to close it out. A consistently top record and a dominant tournament performance closed out emphatically against his number one rival. He didn’t just eliminate every opponent, he also eliminated every question that could be asked.
How long can Mena stay this consistent, its so insane.

I'm from the Uk and I've been loving watching Lexx play. Huge surprise to see him in top 6 but so awesome!
Nerf MenaRD irl. Solo wiping the best of the best like a warm knife through butter. Actual take. Good on him for being so good but it was kinda boring to watch him wipe the floor with kakeru. And you could tell the fellas doing commentary kinda felt the same
Im sure Brian is none the wiser, but i was very pleasantly surprised to hear some Omega Strikers music. Super underrated
We need more storyline content like this
Great breakdown. Mena is the new s.f god. Sf5 and sf6. The guy's proven now that ppl might get close but none are on par with this guy. He's a goat
The one tournament Mena underperformed at was the one where you could win a mil 😢
MenaRD is on another level right now. Also, as good as Mena's Luke is, when he gets to play Blanka, there is no touching him. Right now Angrybird seems like the only guy that is scary because his Ken forces him to play Luke.

9:38 the tabs….😮
This feels increasingly like a news segment.
After all the other live events got their heads on straight and had cameras fixed on players' faces during the entire stream, it's bizarre to see Evo Japan drop the ball like it's 2015. But then again, this is the same venue that refused to take input latency into account last year and earned a big scandal over it.
You should talk about seeding more in depth. The seeding in this Evo is so bad, it's almost random. The 10th seed Ariken, is a popular streamer whose only notable win was a team tournament with 4 teams and is more of a fun exhibition (think Sajam's Tekken Slam). No one's talking about it but this tournament felt like it was seeded with "vibes"

@@JoelBurger I’m so sorry let me clarify. Hello, I believe that the two champions that played are more skilled then I will ever be, and know more about how to play then I ever will. They should do everything in there power to win, and I approve of all the methods used and think the better fighter won the fight because it was a fair fight in a balanced game that is very good. Now that I have said all that, as a spectator I found the match boring.
