Dear Hawkins Podcast Family, your podcast has made my life so much better. I have severe PTSD and every day is a huge struggle. I eagerly listen to the new episode each week (when there is one) and I also greatly enjoy going back and re-listening to older ones from like last year and the year before. You all have helped me understand what good healthy relationships look like among family members and also between a man and woman (wife, husband) and also the laughter you cause has helped me heal immensely. Thank you for being yourselves and letting me into your lives like this. There are other ways you've helped me through your podcast but ya'll will have to wait till we all get to Heaven to hear those...at which point I will smother you one by one in a huge bear hug. Thanks again, I literally, genuinely love you all. ((hugs)) :D

Necrotizing fasciitis…I’m a wound care nurse and have seen this before. It’s crazy. Hyperbaric oxygen therapy is amazing! There have been a few patients who have accidentally had a part of a finger amputated, reattached, and then hyperbaric oxygen therapy and you would never have known anything happened to the finger!

Y'all should try drafting certain things for certain topics. For example, if the topics was "best foods" Tim would go first, Olivia second, Luke 3rd, etc. And then you just go around picking your fav foods. once one is off the board, it can't be taken. you select the ones you think are best. you could do it for almost any topic. there are two other podcasts that i listen to that does this and it is awesome. my family has done it on like road trips and stuff too

I am in a really stressful season in life and this lighthearted banter just makes my day. Funny story: I just had a tonsillectomy ansnduring those first drug-induved nap days, I fell asleep listening to this and dreamt that I was at an event to hear you record a podcast live and I was the only one to show up to this church and I felt like a creeper watching you record. After, Tim asked what my name was (Glenda) and a bit later he came by and said, "Hey Daffodil." 😂 Then he felt so badly that he gave me free tickets to a show for my hubby and me. Such a fun dream when I was in pain and feeling down. Haha. Keep up the fun.

Seriously, be careful hiking and climbing if you are not prepared. I have a kid who is an avid hiker and climber and he has had to save a few people from dehydration and other issues. It can make you very sick.
