Recently, a huge mob of angry young men and women of about 7000-8000 people broke into a prison and dragged a man out, stripped him naked, beat him up to death and hanged his dead body out in public, posing for selfies with his dead body simply because a woman had accused him of raping her. Keep in mind, at that point there was no evidence/proof pointing that he had actually raped her, it was simply an accusation.

In those girls defended kpop is an incredibly strict industry. It's gotten more relaxed lately but that video was clearly old so they are probably told to not stop performing no matter what. It's not that they didn't want to get caught lip syncing because lip syncing is pretty common and not too scandalous in kpop. That aside it is pretty bad that they didn't stop to try to help her but they were probably scared themselves. There have been issues in the past of idols being abused by their managers and stuff so idk...

If they stopped singing to help her then everyone would know she was lip syncing

But yes, they were afraid to "ruin" the live and put in danger other carrers cause they were teached to continue no matter what. I've read some comments on the occasion, many blame seazure girl just like Ethan said. "She should've not perfom at the first place"

So I know this is an old video and probably nobody will see this, but I'm pretty sure some (if not all) kpop groups are contractually obligated to keep on performing even if one of the members faints (or in this case has a seizure). I'm not 100% sure on this but nevertheless it's pretty screwed up.

If I was a kid watching on tv I would have been so scared by that woman having a seizure. Having a coworker who used to have them is freaky enough as an adult. It's a terrible condition to have, I would be so worried all the time I was going to have one.

About the Seeya seizure incident, i read on a couple of forums that they found nothing wrong with what Seeya did because they had to perform. It was a live show, so they couldn't just stop shooting and retake. Having said that, i'm pretty sure any normal and caring person would try to help a person who was having a seizure. I'm sure the audience who was watching would be fine with their idols stopping their song to help a backup dancer. Plus, why the hell would you drag a person who was having a seizure off stage like that?! You should let them be until they stop their seizure and are stable, but they couldn't do that. Instead of grabbing her arms and legs and restraining her, they should have picked her up and held onto her torso and support her head. That way, her arms and legs aren't being restricted. Them doing that probably hurt her more.

Koreans are really backward when it comes to mental illness, they'd rather brush things under the rug or hide because of the stigma against mental illness, than actively do anything or educate anyone about it. If you tell anyone you have anxiety or depression they'll either say it's not real or shun you, let alone something like epilepsy they'll deem you as nuts. No wonder there are so many suicides there.

Oh and in case you are wondering that group ended its career .......because of......reasons i guess. so since they got ruined anyway they could at least help that girl.

most people know performers who dances are lip syncing. It is very hard to dance and sing together, the voice will be very jerky because the movements.

KPOP is a VERY harsh industry to the part where they can't even have boyfriends (or any non-scripted personal lives). You basicly sign your life off for 5 to 9 years into stardom for relatively little compensation. So that's why they didn't stop the show. They were probably hoping she would get up again and catch up with the routine.

Actually that's not totally true, although I'm sure there are some terrible companies that would do that. Idols are allowed boyfriends/girlfriends but usually after a 3ish year period, so pretty much once they're not considered rookies. You are also allowed personal lives away from spotlight but doing things such as making hurtful comments, like racism or whatnot, or anything that puts you in a bad light will probably be exposed and it won't be good for you or your group. Groups that make it big get a lot of money also, such as bigbang was the highest grossing male group in the entire world last year beating out maroon 5. GD-- their leader-- has like 3 mansions and a resort. Anyway I have no idea about this group shown or what they're like, probably because they sound like shit, but they should have definitely helped her.
