I miss the days when I would get home from school back in 1973. I was in 4th grade. I couldn't wait to get home and watch the 3 Stooges at 4pm. It was a daily ritual. Im in my 60s now and when I want to relive those days and lift myself up from being in a sad day I pop in one of my blu-rays of the Stooges and watch all the shorts on the disk. And what is funny now, I got my nieces and nephews into watching them and appreciating the humor. They're in their mid 20s now. When they were younger, I told them that all their movies were in black and white because humans back them didn't see in color and it wasn't invented until the mid 1960s. ;)

The Stooges were on an independent UHF channel when I was a kid. My dad turned it on when he got home from work, and me and my siblings became instant Stooge fans. My dad has passed, but I feel that he’s laughing with me whenever I watch the Stooges now.

Oh yeah! Back in the early seventies, my brother and I always used to watch the Three Stooges in the late afternoon. I believe they were the best comedian team for thier time. The Marx Brothers couldn't hold a candle to the Stooges. Neither could Oliver and Hardy nor could Abbott and Costello. The Three Stooges were the greatest of all of them. Thanks for uploading.

Thank you so much for sharing!! I have been having a real depressing day, needing to find a new doctor that is capable of dealing with all my medical issues, and not succeeding. Saw this post on KZread while I was searching (I am a loyal fan of Stooge Talk on Thursday nites), and I said to myself, stop, take a break, and listen to his stories; maybe it will help calm you down and maybe get a giggle or two, so I did. I'm feeling better...granted, my problems are still here, but beause of you my stress has released a bit, and I can focus better. I also see the 3 hours of Curly posted, and that's where I'm heading now. Am an insomiac, it's midnight here in Massachusetts, and my hubby, son and daughter-in-law are sleeping soundly. So, to the film, to the film, to the film, film, film!!! 🎭 🎬 📽 Thank you all for keeping the Stooges alive in our hearts! ❤❤❤

The sounds bring it all together. I love saying this. Who in modern history is more popular than the 3 Stooges in comedy? Easy. Nobody is. The interview online Moe thinks they will live on. He was right about that. Other comedians come and go but the Stooges are in a different class. Historically. I love these videos and want to learn any new Stooge fact. Beep beep beep.

As a teen my friends neighbor was friends of Joan, Moes daughter. We lived in Chicago. At the time, moe was ill. We wrote to Joan and asked her to tell Moe we were big fans. To our surprise, Moe sent us a letter thanking us "morons" for being fans, and not to try any of their antics, as they were faked with rubber props and such. He died shortly after. I belive very soon after Larry who he mentioned in his letter that he would tell him about their fans in Chicago. The stooges are my go to whenever im down. God bless those imbeciles.

I remember when I first got ‘into’ The Three Stooges. I was about fifteen years old, around 1984. Its when VCR’s became affordable and my parents purchased one. VHS video stores started opening up. The nearest one to us was two bus rides away, about thirty minutes. I would use my newspaper route money to rent The Three Stooges VHS tapes. Usually two or three at a time and twice-a-week trips. Of course I have the whole series on DVD now 😎

I met Lyla at a convention in Philly early 90s...i believe Bud was there too. She was at the autograph table when Billy West (Ren &Stimpy/Stern Show) came in and running late wearing a rag tag Larry costume. He walked behind the table and was about to take his seat next to Lyla and as he did so in his best Larry voice said "Gimme a stogey and a whore(pronounced 'hoo-oar') and im ready to go!" Lyla shot him a look that wouldve taken his scalp wig off. I miss those shows.

One of the funnest 3 stooges story, the video is floating around youtube. Moe is on the Mike Douglas talk show. Moe is showing Mike Douglas how to throw a cream pie at a person which was a famous bit for the stooges. Of course in 3 stooges fashion Moe starts chasing Mike D.with a pie which was the closing moments of the show. Here was the set up, Moe's wife was in the audience front row and knew the plan was for Mike to duck and for her to be hit by the pie. The bit worked perfect however, the show ended and the viewing audience had no ideal this was a planned set up, they thought this poor lady was hit with the pie which also landed on her beautiful dress. The show got flooded with calls and letters in protest from viewers outraged by this insensitive act. This caused the show producers to have a return visit of Moe, with his wife to explain it was just good clean fun.
