That is nuts. For 33 years we had a rear wheel drive Volvo 240. I went up hills that make this look like child's play with no problrm at all. Winter tires and knowing how to deal with it make the difference.

that volvo also weighed more than a car of the same size today i had an 80's 240dl and it was a tank! but yes most people these days get sold on the "ALL SEASON" tires which are not all season at least not in an area with snow and ice and hills

These are my favorite @@udizzy1969 got me lmao 😂! I remember my first car 1985 Chevrolet Caprice Classic it had a stock 350 with a positive rear I'd throw 6 or 8 cinder blocks in the trunk and never gotten stuck I was pulling trucks out with a tow chain and we had some bad storms back then. Gotta have good tires don't lose momentum and some weight on the drive axle and you'll have no problems. Be safe @@udizzy1969! Keep em coming

One year I put ice spikes on my winter tires. I’m glad I got them that winter. That was in a ski hill area, and some days the major cross Canada highway was closed due to ice. Normally just have winter tires, not for me, it’s because of crazy people who have summer tires. One time car was sliding sideways with a tailgater, I let him have it with both barrels. (winter tires). Only had winter tires one year. Bighorn sheep on road, I was at a dead crawl. Eventually, got to curve and was greatful that I was controlling my skid on ice, it was over 300 ft drop, no fencing/bollards.
