all this theming is also bc of the businesses themselves. red is a company that specializes in demolition, hence the bomb on their logo. blu specializes in construction, hence the wrench in their logo. blu creates, red destroys.

well, i wouldn't say that the reason we all remember them all is because the OST is *just that good* (although, yeah, it is), but rather due to how prolific those songs became in the internet culture as a whole, mostly thanks to the meet the team videos. to have never played the game is one thing, but to have never seen, say for example, meet the medic or even any of the mvm trailers...one can hardly imagine an internet user older than 10 who had never seen those.

I love how perfectly the Mann Vs. Machine OST represents the struggle against the robots. How each track in progression throughout emphasises the overwhelming dread the mercenaries face as the robots impose their doom, the struggle against such threat and the recovery as the mercenaries take control and succeed in the fight.

No other shooter has ever matched the artistry on display here. The writing is extremely clever, even down to the descriptions and names for items. The voice acting is world class; entirely in a league of its own. And then the soundtrack is relentlessly punchy and exciting. The whole game had no business going this hard. Multimedia masterpiece. 😂

"More awesome music" is the word that really gives me the creeps. What if the songs added aren't as recognizable, or they are downright bad? I'd stick to the songs Valve made. And, having an update that doesn't include community cosmetics is impossible.

The Dreams of Cruelty one could not be more accurate, especially for the scene.

I don't know how to feel about the fact that Dr. Livesey could perfectly replace medic with no problems. I mean, imagine him talking about how he lost his medic liscence!

Fun fact: Le petite cheu-fleur translated from french means "the little cauliflower" Edit: but french ppl used to describe like that their darlings, so basically it means "my little darling"

This may be a dumb question, but is Rocket Jump Waltz the Soldier's track? It doesn't sound like it'd fit him, also it wasn't in his Meet The video (Art of War was the track used in that video).
