If y’all want REAL and Authentic Street Tacos, Go to El Si Hay in Oak Cliff. One of the best taco/corn in the cup shops in Dallas. Fuel city’s passable if all the other places are closed or it’s late at night. The corn in the cup taste like they boil it straight outta the can for me.

True! Fuel City was the SPOT when I was back in college and coming back from the club, but deeper into those spots are amazing. Hole in the walls with someone's momma in the back!? 👌🏾

I've tried fuel city tacos a few times. Dont recommend them as a staple of authentic mexican tacos. Will work if your drunk.

Any California taqueria is better than Texas. The only ones that are semi decent are in Brownsville but still not better.

I'm a lifelong Dallas native. I had these tacos before most of the locals had a clue. Pretty good IMO, but there are several other places that have much better "street" tacos in Dallas, and are alot more safe at nite.

For starters there is a place just down the road from Fuel City on the corner of Comstock & Harwick called Taco City y Mas. No, it is not part of the Taco City chain. This is my go to when I'm downtown...However the best street tacos in Dallas County are in Garland. A place called 24/7 tacos. It is also inside a gas station (a Shell i belive) located on the corner of Saturn and Miller. Thanks for the replies and if you hit up one of these places reply back and let me know what you think...

Finally I'm back home in Texas and I can say I've eaten at a place that is shown on the Texas Bucket List. I eat these tacos once a week😌

I work at the courthouse and everybody knows when you get Fuel City tacos....smells so good!! Everybody asks if you are sharing your tacos.

Fuel City opened a new one in Wylie, and it’s awesome! It has a nice bar inside, a drive thru daiquiri, indoor and patio seating. It’s great!

Hell nah you seriously don’t know good tacos if you put fuel city tacos up here 😂😂😂😂😂

Sounds like Los Tacos No. 1 in NYC. As a Texan, I can say Los Tacos No. 1 probably has the best tacos outside of Texas.

You should try Taco Kingz in Tyler, Texas located in a nice Fuel Runner Phillps 66 on Grande and New Copeland Rd. The best brisket tacos!

Especially after the club fuel city always hits the spot

There's too many taquerias in dallas too pick one as the "best". I'd say my favorite though is la banqueta in the east dallas area, or taqueria el si hay in oak cliff. If your in the webb chapel area la salsa Verde is must try too.

The kickin crab was some of the best crawfish and shrimp in Dallas. Been to a bunch of places and they had real good flavor

Dang, and I was in Dallas just a few weeks ago.

Went here on a taco tour for my birthday and will say these are good 8/10. But, the number 1 tacos spot in Dallas IMO is Tacos de la Banqueta.

That place ain’t even that good....try the hole in the wall called “El Tacaso” also in Dallas on the Northwest Hwy after a night out👌🏽

They've got a ranch in downtown Dallas, buy diamonds by the ton, change cuties in their Cadillacs, drill oil wells just for fun. #tacos

I have my picks depending on what side of Dallas but Chimalhuacan in richardson take the list as #1 for me and my family

But if you want tacos come to Amarillo blvd and try the taco trucks especially the one at El papas parking lot!

Bucket List my ass. Lived in Dallas for over 20 years and Fuel City has some of the worst tacos. Tons of better tacos everywhere but here.

I remember when they first built it. I used to get them, maybe over 12 years ago. Now at age 29, these tacos aint that good. Id rather go to pinochos. If thats still good.

Best Tacos in the state

Only reason I go to fuel city is for the carwash with hand dry and full detail on rims and tires for 14$ not to shabby 👍but the tacos I say 3 out of 5

I miss Fuel City...this makes me want to move back to Dallas. Their tacos are good and cheap.

Having been "imprisoned, educated,same thing" in Texas as a teenager in the '80s, my Texas bucket list is to never ever ever having to set foot in that prison state again. People are rude. Closed minded judgemental and it's obvious the Southern Baptist Evangelical Church's have a strangle hold on that state. It's like getting a glimpse of the antebellum south.
