This movie is about the birth what it means to be Jewish. It's about passover and the beginnings of Judaism. No wonder so few understand why Israel is so important to lots of Jews.

I bought a DVD of The Ten Commandments and Ben Hur together at Walmart. So nice not to have to wait until Easter to watch it, although it was a treasured family tradition for me when I was growing up.

You can’t forget how Brynner first looks up at the sky, then ducks his head behind his forearms as if to protect himself from a blow from God, or if about to say “ Enough! enough! You win!”

Praise the lLord. Jeghova.
