this is absolutely incredible!! big hit / HYBE is so far ahead of the game and so forward thinking, i love how you really think about a good way to use technology and music while staying true to the artists' voice, and making fans feel closer!!!! i really support this!! it also demonstrates the amazing things technology and AI can do, so exciting to be a part of this time

The Supertone tech is really quite amazing! I can really see a future where songs are sang fluently in almost any language. There are also a lot of other applications apart from music. Imagine movies, games, audio books, etc.

I love this but still i prefer the Korean accent is cool as well :D but for the sakes of this new ai technology its purely fascinating. either way im so greatful for all your hard work ai engineers etc. Lee hyun has the most gorgeous voice and im also excited for his new endeavors. Though, I hope he does not give up being Lee Hyun the human artist and still make lovely songs :D

I think this is cool since I love ai but I also prefer listening to an artists actual voice because that's their talent and why their fans love them because its authentic, I'm a little afraid for if it comes out in live performances how would we know if the people can actually sing or if it's just the ai haha maybe i'm over thinking it but man the technology aspect of it though is so cool :)

Well, Supertone technology is to help the pronunciation with the help of AI. I bet it will be sung live in Korean only, so I don't think it's a problem. The multiple languages with the correct pronunciation and accent are probably for KZread content only to attract more people and listeners to understand the message of the song.

As a native spanish speaker I find unsettling and strangely confusing to understand/ follow the song,.... Incorrect stress and pronunciation makes it difficult to inmerse in the experience as in "I can relax because you are hearing a song you can understand at ease"..... For me It's a long way before it works,... though I find it quite interesting!!!

Yeah okay so HYBE acquired some AI company for far too much of fan's money... can HYBE correctly upload the subtitles on the official Run BTS episodes on KZread? There are at least 5+ episodes where the subtitles don't sync up correctly with what the members are saying!!!

So HYBE acquires an AI company for millions of dollars yet still can't: 1) Hire a cultural competency staff member to be based at HYBE's headquarters 2) Hire a decent translator for music video subtitles. Sync subtitles correctly for Run BTS videos. 3) Do basic research on potential collaborators/artists 1a) I beg HYBE to hire a western masters or doctorate level educator who can help teach HYBE artists about cultural appropriation and related issues. Using Native American style teepees in set designs was disappointing. I still haven't seen genuine apologies released by the company for any past issues regarding costume issues, hair styles, cultural appropriation, slurs, etc. 2a) It's widely known that HYBE's subtitles for music videos do not do the real lyrics justice. Please fire your current translators and find better ones. 3) Since HYBE has millions to spare on AI tech, I wish you could've spared one HYBE intern to do a basic Google search on potential collaborating artists. I did a simple search of Kodak Black and guess what? He plead guilty to sexually abusing a minor. A teenage girl! Why in the world would you have your artists collaborate with him? NLE Choppa? Guilty of domestic abuse! Having your artists collaborate with known r*pists and sexual abusers is incredibly damaging. Even encouraging your artists guest on shows with people like Jay P*rk (incredibly problematic) shows that you don't actually care about international fans. You're just trying to find ways to expand and make money. I get that HYBE is a capitalistic corporation but there comes a point where your international fans will get sick of HYBE's ineptitude and indifference to the issues I've mentioned above. And please tone down the extreme whitewashing and soft focus in photos and videos. I know that "Korean beauty standards" are supposedly different but have you noticed that your artists aren't actually as white as a sheet of printer paper and that's okay. Also, why spend all this time on AI when the English parts in Yoongi's song with IU make no sense? A middle school teenager from most English speaking countries could've told you that the lyrics are strange and need editing. I told you that for free. I speak 3 of the languages that the AI supposedly helped with on this song and two of them are weird. The pronunciation and where the accents/stressed syllables are sound off and make some parts nearly unintelligible. Bang Sihyuk and the C-Suite seem incredibly concerned with the slowing growth of the K-Pop industry across the world so I think it's time that executives actually listened to what fans are trying to tell you... repeatedly. You bet your time and money on AI. However, your money and effort could have gone to a: *cultural competency expert *better translators *research assistants I disagree that AI tech is a wise choice for HYBE's resources and effort when it comes to human artists and music. I wish Lee Hyun all the best. I just hope he's not being used for corporate purposes like j-hope was used for ESGs. Jack in the Box deserved physical CD albums, the online store to be opened on time, a respectful press release regarding the vinyl, and appropriate distribution of the vinyl. I hope Lee Hyun's project is better promoted than BigHit & HYBE have done in the past.
