As a minor rules suggestion, I think that you should add that if the match is tied after the awarding of the winner's bonus points then the winner of the rumble's team advances to the next round. Since self-eliminations seem to happen a few times a season, how you score them should be in the rules as well. -1 point to the self-eliminatee's team?

I'm finally getting to sit down and watch this. I'm excited but I feel your "completely randomized" comment may not be true. 10 superstars in and it has alternated TNA and nWo each time. CONSPIRACY! LoL

Just a thought. Maybe track individual points and have a rumble MVP.

This new format is great - really dig the scoring system. The factions added a lot of intrigue to the match. And agree that re-seeding would be good for the second round - since I’m assuming there was no seeding going into the tournament.

Couldn't have been a more fitting final four! Definitely interested to see if the nWo isn't the only team involved in this tournament that's "2 Sweet" if you catch my drift. Awesome new concept, excited to see where it goes!

Ricky, you are the king, dare I say “God”, of KZread Wrestling game content. Lol. I swear, if you stop doing these Rumble seasons, I’m going to be totally freakin bummed. Hahahaha. Please don’t stop. You could rehash past season themes and I’ll continue to watch. I don’t care. Your commentary makes it more than worth it. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU, Ricky. I truly can’t watch enough. You’re right, btw, Jay Lethal does a hilarious Macho impression. He also does an awesome Ric Flair impression. Him and Ric doing the “woo” off years ago was one of the funniest things ever.

Here are a few Rumble suggestions for the tournaments. 1. A return of the Star Wars vs Star Trek 2. B&W Era* (e.g. The 3 Stooges) vs. 80s Pop Culure. 3. NASCAR vs PGA *I really liked seeing the black & white created characters in the past rumbles. I think they look sharp.

I was heartbroken when I heard the rumbles were done. Then I watched this. One I was already jacked knowing the teams plus seen the scoring system before so knew what was coming. But what really got me excited was the tournament style bracket. This is even better imo than the rumbles. Great idea Ricky. Loving it. Also I'm not a fan of reseading. You draw what you draw. It's what makes upsets so great and there will be upsets, so I say let it play out. Also love the not letting anyone know the teams at least for the first round. I can not wait for the next one. Never cease to amaze me brother. I'm totally bought in. Keep up the good work man.Forgot to add I don't even care who does a better Savage. I love your impression. Don't ever stop. It just adds more to what is a great channel etc. That said I can't believe Savage got eliminated so quickly. Maybe you should of been controlling him lol

Congrats to Hulk Hogan and the NWO on winning. Just pure domination by the NWO over TNA. Love this format for season 5. Can't wait for the next matchup. And I'm kind of surprised you didn't have Eric Young or Kazarian or Christopher Daniels representing TNA. Would have put them in instead of Manik, Homicide, and Scott Steiner. Maybe they would have put up a better fight.

I'm liking the new format and your Rumbles will always be the best for entertainment...The only detractor for me is that once all 16 teams are introduced, there won't be any new characters showing up for the rest of the season.

I like this idea, You should have the final royal rumble and also a champions rumble for the individual rumble winners (or something like that.

Loving this concept.. Really good fun and refreshing.. My only nitpick would be I would actually make the winner score more points.. I would say 10pts for the winner.. That way we could potentially see a huge comeback right at the end.. Granted it wouldn't have effected anything this match but it Cold make the final few a bit more tense.. But either way still loving this. :)

You wanted, a thought on the team up points. If both are on the same team eliminating their own team, 1 point each (2 total) . If eliminating opposite team 2 points each (4 total). If 1 of each team eliminates a wrestler then together 3 points total (1 for 1 wrestler who eliminates same team member and 2 for the other wrestler who eliminates the opposite team member). As for team formats I like it, I think I've sent a couple suggestions to you already for possible teams, and I'm sure you have many in mind already too? I can't wait to see what you have upcoming! Congrats to Hogan, to start things off right! The reseeding is fine or the standard bracket following a standard format is fine too, I have no favs over the other?

This is an awesome concept Ricky. So excited to see more. Felt bad for the TNA guys, but yeah, re-seeding would be a great idea so that if one team has already mathematically guaranteed victory, there’s still something to play for. Is there any way there could still be some kind of incentive for someone to win the rumble even if his/her team is already too far behind on points? Like maybe having a guarantee of being on another team in another match in the tournament. So for example if AJ had won that one, he would’ve then been included in a WWE current roster team or a WCW team or a US wrestlers team, etc.

I am so ready for this! Also arguably the most notable members in both TNA and NWO in the final four. Also I love how Hogan points all his offence on Nash at the end in front of AJ like I'm doing this to my own guy Brother, you're next! PLEASE have Lucha Underground in this!!

@RickyJSports For the double team eliminations. 1. If for some reason all three are of the same team, that team should only get 1-point. It should be punishment for two of the same members teaming up to eliminate one of their own members. 2. 2-points if two wrestlers of the same team eliminate an opposing team member. 3. 1-point to each team if one member of each team, team up to eliminate a team/opponent member (e.g. 1-NWO & 1-TNA team up and eliminate an NWO. Or 1-NWO & 1-TNA team up and eliminate a TNA).

Great rumble, and I'm looking forward to the next! I'd be against reseeding though, just so you can have a nice, coherent bracket at the end.

That was so exciting! I knew that the close scores of the Marvel vs DC rumble was a miracle. It's probably not gonna happen often. There is nothing in the game's programming that says that it should. But with that being said, I enjoyed seeing the nWo dominate.

I’ve followed every season and I really enjoyed this style! It kept it fresh ( well kinda with NwO crushing it lol). Is there any way you can say what every one is rated overall when they come out? I’d be very interested in knowing at least some of them! Thanks Ricky and keep it up brother

Great idea for season 5. I really like the scoring system. I'm all for the re-seeding for round 2. Maybe seed 1 vs seed 4, and seed 2 vs seed 3, and seed each team by their total points!!

I really like this format for season 5. I'm not surprised at all that nWo dominated TNA in this tournament style team based rumble series. What a great way to start, Ricky! I do agree that second round should be reseeded. I'm dyin' to know who the next two teams are going to be. Onwards to the next rumble!!

Thank you, I just looked at the cover and knew I would love it. I didn’t even request one with TNA( my second favorite company) and NWO

One theme that would be cool would be 90s Faces vs 90s Heels, since you've done an 80s one, already.

This season is gonna, be fire, Ricky! I can’t wait! In terms of the score, unless I wasn’t paying proper attention, I think there was only one minor discrepancy between what it was and maybe should have been - not that it mattered in the end. I’m pretty sure Razor got an elimination to take NWO to 14, then immediately eliminated someone else and you said 14 again - but it should have been 15 or 16 depending on who it was.

Had TNA won like 19-18 or something, then I think a second check would be needed. Keep up the good work anyway, my man. Always look forward to these videos.

Hello Mr Ricky J. Just watched episode one of season five of the rumbles and I really like the idea for this year. I can’t wait to see what kind of teams you come up with for the tournament. If you do happen to do a season six I have some ideas for some of those rumbles. If it’s possible to do this I thought an all Schwarzenegger character rumble or an all Jim Carrey character rumble or an all Adam Sandler character rumble or an all Sylvester Stallone character rumble

That's a great idea, all those actors got just mentioned have lots of movies out there. Maybe include, Jason Statham characters, Eddie Murphy, Robin Williams, and Bruce Willis characters?

This is awesome! Bracket-style and the rules are excellent. You could sell this concept to a casino.

I really like the concept, can't wait for the final!

In my personal opinion if a guy from Team A and a guy from Team B eliminate a guy from Team B, then Team A should get 2 points (for eliminating someone from the other squad) and Team A should get 1 point (for eliminating someone from their own squad.)

This is phenomenal!!Loved every second of the debut Rumble of season 5! I do have a question about the teams. If you are on a team, for example Jay Lethal representing TNA, will he be precluded from being on another team, such as AEW or Ring of Honor assuming they have teams?

I know you did a "Fathers and Sons" Rumble for Fathers' Day last year. But I think it would work really well in this format. In a few cases, you might need to create new wrestlers, but it could look like this: Fathers: Dusty Rhodes, Rocky Johnson, Verne Gagne, Stu Hart, IRS, Blackjack Mulligan, Angelo Poffo, Ted DiBiase, Bob Orton, Jr., Fritz Von Erich, Bob Armstrong, Bruno Sammartino, Rey Mysterio, VInce McMahon, and Johnny Valentine Sons: Cody Rhodes (just to switch things up a bit), The Rock, Greg Gagne, Brett Hart, Bray Wyatt, Barry Windham, Randy Savage, Ted DiBiase Jr., Randy Orton, Kerry Von Erich, Brad Armstrong, David Sammartino, Dom Mysterio, Shane McMahon, and Greg Valentine Could switch out any of these with the Guerreros, the Flairs, the Funks, etc.

Team NTA eliminated Hollywood Hogan getting the win for his team NWO who advance 38 - 12 TNA took one hell of a beating. I love this new format as I did the last but with this it's more action packed as you never know who's coming in and who's going to win, as for the re-seeding yes carry on with that

Gotta disagree with the team placement of Scotty Steiner. Especially in that gear. I think you verbally got it right by putting him in the nWo. Other than that, great Rumble. Great format. Looking forward to the tournament!

Best Rumble Ever! NWO totally dominating by letting Waltman and Hall rack up the points early (thankfully Sean didn't dump Scott right off), and getting a surprising run from Ed Leslie (The Disciple) so they could save Hogan and Nash to finish it off. Best moments: Eric Bischoff kicking the shit out of everybody. Eliminates Sting and Big Poppa! Make them your bish, Bisch! Scott Hall giving the Razor's Edge to that useless Big No. All those criss-crosses in that epic final four. Hogan choke-slamming Nash to set up the elimination. AJ Styles dropping the Big Leg on Hogan, only for Hollywood to shake off two consecutive doses of the Styles Clash to put the Big Leg on AJ for the win. And of course the Pecking Order holds true, and Hollywood gets the win. NWO 4 LIFE! And yes, the deeper rosters should swap in. Bring on Stevie Ray, Scott Norton, and especially Brett Hart. Can't wait for more!

Quick suggestion: You should also keep track of which team scores the highest amount of points. If you do, NWO's 38 should be really hard to beat.

Nice to see Abyss, i might be wrong but i don't remember seeing him in an earlier Rumble.

You could possibly take the last man of each rumble and have them make it to the seasons 5 champions rumble. Maybe have the previous champions as an automatic bid. If you need to fill it out more, you could take a poll or pick your MVPs to be in it. Digging the new format regardless!

NWO/TNA was good. For me it's hard because you had people that were both part of NWO and TNA like scott steiner and Jeff Jarrett

The winner should get more points to make it more exciting at the end. Most eleminations by one wrestler should also give more point. Like a bonus for most eliminations. Maybe give one team some kind of tell tale like blue shoes or something easy to spot which team they are on.

There were a few guys from team TNA that could be team nWo as well. Sting and Jarrett for sure.

You know what you should do, Ricky? SUBSTRACT a point every time one teammate throws another out. Don't reward a team for eliminating one of their own!

I like the format. But two things: What if AJ Styles was the last man standing? So, if the last man standing of a losing team, would they still make it to the champions rumble? And I'm sure you've filled out all the brackets, but if not have you thought about Football vs Basketball or Hockey?
