Jeff Jarrett's longest reign was 348 days. Good gosh, by the last time he won, the crowd threw bottles in the ring.

I was like "I wonder if there's a new Deadlock episode?", opened an old one. 10 seconds later this new video pops up.

The main reason why I dislike Jeff Jarrett in TNA (during his Reign of Terror) is how it basically destroyed the career of Monty Brown. Monty had all the tools to be a huge, homegrown star for TNA, had an amazing look, boatloads of charisma, could work well enough in the ring, had a super over finish, and could cut a promo. But then they ruined him by making him Jeff Jarrett's lackey and making him look like a chump. Same thing kind of happened to Ron Killings, a super over guy who had to play second to the might of Slap Nuts.

It was weird as everyone else around that time did relatively well for themselves during jarrett’s run. I mean AJ, Christian, Sting, Angie, Joe, etc all did well for themselves.

@@agiammarco94 tbh I feel like all of them would've been over regardless. They gave the belt to angle, Joe was over ASF in 05/06, Sting beat Jarret and even before he had really nothing to prove. Styles took some time though, like to regain his main event status

8:39 Until the day I leave this mortal coil I will stand by the fact that SVR 08 is not the worst game in the series becuase it is easily either 2K15 or 2K20. Never have understood why the game gets so much flack to this day.

@@PrinxeGaming_ Okay the fighting styles weren't fantastic but they didn't drag things down that much. I don't see how the game is limited though when it has Career mode, GM Mode, Hall of Fame mode, improved creation suite etc. It also helps that it is not a barely working mess like 2K20 or a threadbare, creatively limiting bore like 2K15. And it has a damn good soundtrack to boot, not as good as '07 but still decent.

kingOfKombat an abundance of modes doesn’t equate to substance. All those modes you named and I bet you can’t name anything that stands out in those modes. 2008 had so much potential but you can tell that’s not the game that was supposed to be put out. 24/7 mode was the most tedious boring bullshit ever, GM Mode was ripped apart for appearance and no soul and the creation suite was terrible as there were barely any moves or entrance setups to work with because a lot of them were locked behind the fighting styles and the weight class of who you were creating. Not mention height was tethered to weight class as well. Meaning I couldn’t have a 6’2 Cruiserweight or a 5’8 Superheavyweight

@@PrinxeGaming_ Fair enough the game ain't perfect but it certainly isn't the worst in the series when looking at every WWE game on consoles and not just the SVR games. It may not hold up as well as 07 or Here Comes the Pain but for what it is it's perfeclty fine, which is why I was so befuddled that it was apparently the worst game in the series. As for the game modes I played GM Mode in 07 and 08 and I remember zero differences, felt similar if not the exact same. 24/7 mode never felt tedious or boring, 2K15's career mode on the other hand was at it's best passable and at it's worst it was the boringest thing that ever bored and it didn't get much better until 2K19 came out. Hall of Fame mode was a decent bit of fun, recreating historical moments such as winning the rumble from number 1 to the Ironman match from Mania 12 was a good challenge and at least unlocked a decent legends roster.
