I think there were some weeks where it was mostly LoL or other stuff at least on this KZread channel. There are definitely more wc3 daily videos now than some time in the past where I checked. You are right though that overall he does lots of wc3, I just think the intensity goes up and down in phases. And he has even admitted as much to one of his recent streams.@@quatrendo4544

They already use priest in basically every match so its just T1 priest. The troll merc is just decent ranged damage and the other 2 are seldom seen (ogre brute if youre just base trading)

Strong range, dispel with heal for fast expo. Allows you to defend expo easily with footies/heals especially on echo. Larger maps is a little different with the amount of space and different expo options so it’s easier to pick the priests off

When you have an expo, you usually have a lot of money, but not necessarily enough production buildings to spend it all until your tech is complete. You also want extra units to defend your expo. Mercs work great there because you can supplement your army and spend your extra resources without needing extra production buildings. You'll sometimes see Night Elves do the same thing, especially on this map, because it's so easy to expand and the merc camp is so readily available. There have been some games of Moon where he also grabs mercs from the opponent's merc camp on this map, so his army is almost entirely mercs

If you expo fast your tech is delayed. Merc camps give you access to units that are probably the equivalent of early tier 2. So it fills the gap while you are trying to defend your expo without tier 2.

Nah, you'll be fine. Just prepare to get stomped on your placement matches. Most people who care about being super competitive, play on wc3c, leaving bnet for the casuals like you and me.

Literally schooling other players

Played since I was like 12, wc3 custom games was all I ever did. However, I never did the ladder cause it was impossible to win. Currently I’m trying to really figure it out , no matter how many times I beat computer, it doesn’t train you against a player who’s gonna harass you. I’ve probably practiced 50 hours and only tried two ladder games, then watched the replay. So should I spam ladder and lose a million times to learn? Or just try to perfect every aspect of beating the computer? Campaign is a better place for stress

I would only use the computer to warm up your build/fingers the first 8-10 minutes of a game. Maybe do the first 8 minutes twice. Then start playing ladder. The computer will never compare to the randomness of real players.

Isn't BM really bad against mass breaker since they are magic immune? Wouldn't BM be better with mass breaker yourself vs mass knights since you can do flame strike/blizzard/clap/breath of fire or something at least. Is the early game harass with flame strike worth it and then you get stuck with bm vs mass breaker? Or are you hoping to make them mass breaker instead of knights since he is stronger vs knights? Would you yourself be better off massing breakers instead of knights if you have flame strike? What is the logic or game plan here after you go flame strike first and you survive to middle or late game? Should this guy have massed breakers instead of rifle caster?
