I actually found a simple solution for criss cross conundrum. After opening the 1st red gate and getting the second laser crystal, just connect that 2nd crystal with the blue laser and blue lock and set it up on the mound of rocks close to the sigil gate. The beam will go just above the red and will open the gate without having to use any other red locks or laser crystals x)
