That's why I enjoy this music-it transports me back to times spent playing with friends, whether on the beach or in the mountains.
When mistakes make it more than good!!! To miss a chord and bring me to tears says it all!! Love you brother xx

@@JeremyK-L Yeah I don't know either. He is a funny guy.
The only man on earth I'm okay with calling me little buddy.
Rivers! My favorite.🥰🥰🥰
Man this version of somewhere in New York is so good
when the player feel the tunes himself.. the guitar plays him. becoming one with the the music sent out. what a wonderful fusion 🔥❤️🔥
Brilliant guitar player, wonderful human, genius songwriter! What a pleasure to observe him sing and talk
What a surprise! And the little change in Rivers was... magic.
i owe everything to this man.
Worldclass, Up until now I thought a concert guitar with nylon strings above the 10 fret was not suitable for sharp, good meaningful music, but THAT IS REAL ART!
Thanks man. You're awesome! Your music trails my lifes journey and I thank you. Stay blessed.
Lovely ❤️
his music is so pure and honest...
Amazing 🙌🙌
Thanks so much for this!! Visiting my girlfriend who has incredible living room speakers and they've transported you into the room with me and I couldn't be happier!
I love this 🥰
Wonderful!
Maravilhosoooo
Såg konserten på Mö Festivalen, Magic, men The Talest Man on Earth vill jag gärna lyssna på i en mindre konsertsal nästa gång > Tack för giget i Malmö, alla som stod framför scenen fick vad de förväntade sig
Den här hade jag missat! Vilken vacker liten session
Beautiful
i love this man so much va fan..
True artist

How has your summer been? 🤗
Every version of Rivers tabs I can find doesn't have this detail and flourish, and this guitar sounds absolutely fantastic. Is it a nylon or steel does anyone know? Looks nylon I hardly ever see him play Nylon I feel like. Need the tabs for Somewhere in the mountains as well lol there are no good tabs for that song let alone in tuning shared by rivers!

I don’t have any answers to your questions, but I do know from his Little Red Barn Show that he has specific guitars for specific songs, so some songs are written with his special guitar in mind which might make it harder to sound the same.

@@emilpersson1282 he pulled out lots of them in his live show ha. His guitar tech seems great. I bet her hands are full.

This is a nylon stringed guitar, which is what gives the top strings that sweetness and brevity in the resonance. I agree that it is lovely! I think I read somewhere that he studied classical guitar in his younger days? I've seen him choose the classical guitar for a few of his videos, but rarely on stage. Anyhow, if you're aiming to get that similar tone, a Spanish guitar will get you closer.

@@pickeringpick I have a fairly cheap cordoba nylon I like playing more than steel typically

@@vgamedude12 You know what I'm talking about then! I like playing nylon too - and I like the wider nut, too, which often puts players off classical guitars. For picking and expression, nylon is wonderful. The downside for me is the volume - if you're unplugged, it can be hard to get the projection you're used to with steel (unless you're strumming/flamenco). How'd you like Cordoba guitars?
I think I'm responsible for 1000 of the 9100 views. Can anyone tell what tuning he is in for Somewhere in the Mountains? Online somewhere says FACFAf but I'm not sure thats it.

Seems to be same as rivers, and that usually is E-A-C#-F#-B-e, on this version of somewhere in the mountains that is.

Well he has been playing guitar professionally for about 20 years. Though even if you go and watch videos from him in 2006 and 2008 he's still insanely good
