I’m in my 70’s- by Earth years, anyway. Had a near death experience in my 20’s that reminded me of where our real Home is. Chose to come back to raise my children. Throughout my own childhood, however, I never felt that I fit in here. All of my family and friends engaged in trivial pursuits as if those were important. And they hurt one another. My mission here is not the “norm,” which isolates me psychologically. It’s a huge challenge to be here enduring an extremely tough life, but the more difficult it is the greater the opportunity there is to learn. The lessons just keep getting deeper. I would say thirty-thousand views in a year (this video) is pretty decent. I have had two viral videos as a music-video filmmaker. I am a musician I was so pleased with my re-mix songs that I began to do a specialized video for each re-mix. And the led me into this type of filmmaking. My big viral video was of two Swing Dance champions, Nils & Bianca (of Sweden). I had set one of the dances to a rock-N-roll song (Rock This Town). The video when totally viral, but I only realized later that it was the mobs of Nils and Bianca fans who started watching my video, and thus my channel. I am pleased with my work, but just still push forward to break the algorithm. I do think these "Inter-Psychic Interviews" work here do stand on their own as engaging and though-provoking body of work, whether or not the filmmaker, Mr. Jonas, gets pulled into the Hollywood industry or not. // I, myself, do not work with any sort of AI and I am rather stunned as to how this was done, or that these videos could even be possible.

It's 5 am i watched all your work on this channel in the past hours, ending my watch through on this one. I gotta say unironically that might have been the best way to end it despite the existential dread looming over me as i lay here tired. On the first part of these 2 facing each other i thought it was one of your worse works till the second half of it turned it all around. Now this second part is truly incredibly well put together, im in awe. It's very fun to see how much any individual without even having to know these people being able to enjoy these conversations that partially took place now found in a new place that doesn't exist to be recycled and reinvented. There's so much fuel for everyone decided by themselves to be discovered in these. Thank you for what you do and keep it up. A lot of people appreciate it, cheers.

I am convinced that depression is the result of brilliant men who look for meaning and realize it cannot be found in this life, that it transcends this existence in a way, that this is really a mercy of sorts, a holding cell in a prison, sending the tender hearted soul into a spiral of despair so that they might know with certainty, this cannot be it, this cannot be all, something is missing. The fact that we cry out exclaiming, "God where are you, say something!" because we know that without him we have nothing, so that we might be willing to forsake the entire show, the circus, the stage of life, if you will, and pursue just him, God. His person. I cannot see how anything but Jesus Christ fills that role for the despairing and gentle, good hearted people of this world who mourn. He can be our only comfort.

Knowing the end before seeing this video gives gravity to the subject matter and an angle of insight I haven’t experienced with their psyche. Especially for Robin, his public image was as a comedian. So his passing felt unexpected. But now I see his personal struggles. Another thing I can’t help noticing, is how similar his mood shift is to Jim Carrey. When someone decides “enough is enough” and turns off the switch. It’s sad to see them go through it, but the reality is we are all human. Even famous people have their struggles. Robin Williams even states that in this clip. We’re all fallible. To everyone reading this, hang in there and take care of your mental health. There can always be another chapter in your book of life without ending your story early. Hang in there, and find an accountability partner.

Amazing that these videos don't get more views. It belongs to the best series of videos on KZread. The tension, the inner feelings and their emotional expressions are captured in brilliant images and excellent editing. I think it's art with a capital K.
My god. This is surreal. With a family member battling depression, I find this deeply unsettling but also illuminating.
This hits hard, very hard, two brilliant actors with the hart broken by depression
I stopped asking why am I here and now I'm just happy to be here. I'm sober now and I'm accepting that life isn't always going to be all fun all the time ,that life is about work ,to pay the bills ,to stay healthy physically and mentally and just enjoy the ride while it lasts. Mr Williams and Mr Hofmann may you rest in peace and hopefully I'll see you on the other side someday not so soon..

@@ronwoodhouse2896 yes. “Everybody feels it.” We are here for each other. The isolation and separation can hurt us, but connecting with other humans can help. It’s by design, it’s simple. Our heads are too big to exist in alone, try to share and connect. Just try to help someone who needs it and see how it feels. Know that there are humans on this beautiful planet who care about you, even people you have never met and will probably never meet, can see value in you and your life. 😢 Two amazing actors both full of Depth and despair. Both their works I really did enjoyed may they both rest in peace and love
A painful pairing, but a beautiful piece of Art combining these two interviews. 🖤
It’s almost like it’s a two man short play. The way they utter such stream of consciousness philosophical deep thoughts with a certain cadence back and forth. Very interesting and kind of a mirror into their lost world and despair. Sad they ended up this way but then so many people do.
Just found your channel. Hope more people see these Talks. Absolute artwork and found this one very touching. Keep up the great work. Viewing from East Yorkshire, England 🏴 👌
Beautiful. Really beautiful. So wel made you feel like they really understand each other
Robin Williams was a childhood icon of mine, but I had only discovered Philip Seymour Hoffman shortly before he died. Both deaths hurt.
Its so amazing that these two memorable actors had their struggles with addictions and in a spooky way, they both passed away the same year 2014. These are men who made their roles, their roles, not a imitation not even a copy performance but their own where its never forgotten. Its so sad these talented human beings die too soon. RIP Rob and Phil RIP
Two troubled hearts of two very great men. What wonderful actors. We all miss these geniuses.
Such Talented men...what a great video to leave with us. People need to think, ask and dig deep. God bless them both 🙏🤍🙏 May everyone find THEIR ANSWERS 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
"We shall never see your like again!" Those two deserved much more, and yet, they're gone long time ago. Great edit! P.S. Thank you, it warmed my heart.
Think of all the great characters in this country who didn't end up in movies, who fell to similar circumstances.
That is the most honest and painful talk I've seen for a while! That is the real shit everyone's struggling with an nobody's got the courage to talk about.
This is a great piece of art.
Beautiful 😢
You might not understand me, but you dunno how much I miss these actors and especially, Robin, who I was a fan of since I was a kid. Actually, I saw him in an interview on Conan O'Brien's talk show, and I couldn't hold back tears, while watching how he got interviewed by Conan because, I can't believe this man passed away almost 10 years ago. OMG, time flies too fast.
Welp, that was depressing. Excellent editing as always, but depressing.
Thank you, THE TALK.
oh my gosh. this is both so intense and beautiful but still has the funniness of the awk pauses and cut ins
💔💔 thank you , both of you
I miss these guys.
Two great artists whose art created wonder and illusion did not perceive that the greatest art and illusion of all was life, how great thou art.
This made me burst into tears. I loved Robin so much. He was the most brilliant comet of light. And Philip was an amazing actor. 😢❤

Absolutely incredible
Robin Williams questioned why was he here. Well, he was here to bring joy and laughter with his amazing talent to all of us going through rough times. Perhaps if he would have figured that out better he would still be with us today. Same with Hoffman.
Fantastic!!
amazing, just amazing..
I love you Robin and Philip where ever you are , you both gave us hope even though you couldn’t find for yourself ….rest well
Brilliant and haunting.
This is good art. An askew collage that makes the mind go in many directions in a short burst.
These two brilliant stars shining so bright during their heyday, it's just a matter of time like a SuperNova....
To the questions in your life… you are the answer. To the problems in your life… you are the solution. You just have to search, be introspective and train yourself to see the solutions. Stop the distractions, and focus as if you are assessing someone else, but without judgment.
God love them and all who feel & think such things.
What a brilliant, but tragic pairing. It reminded me of Woody Allen’s quest for the meaning of life in “Hannah and her Sisters,” when he uses the philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche quote, “Life is meaningless.” Miss these two fabulous talents. RIP, Robin and Phillip.
Love these guys. I hope they are doing well.

Two legends ❤
Intense and amazing
I miss them 😭😭😭😭😭

AS FAR AS I KNOW, PATCH ADAMS WAS THEIR ONLY FILM TOGETHER, AND HAD ONLY ONE OR 2 SCENES TOOGETHER, ...IT GIVES THESE SHORT CLIPS A MIGHTY NEW HEFT.
You don’t have to be an artist, suffer is for every body.

2 men that left this world way before thier times.
Wow how amazong these 2 together
This is amazing, from which interviews did you took them out?
And two brilliant, talented, actors who created their own demise.
BRILLIANT
Two of the people I most admire and respect. Intelligence, humanity, and creativity. And yet...for all of that...answers elluded them. What does it take...to solve the riddle they were trying to solve? That it can be solved is...unfortunately...indisputable.

I just discovered this - easily my favorite KZread channel, oh my god. Can we get Kurt Cobain and Thom Yorke in one room?
Once again, A-MAZ-ING!!!
Philip seemed mightily pissed that Robin kept interrupting him and, frankly, I would have been too. Maybe a longer video of their conversation may have balanced itself out.
this is so strong
Two great actors, both are gone now. They searched without and never really looked within.
When a man looks in the mirror and sees a god he'll forever seethe with anger at his humanity. God is not found through words Robin, that was your Labyrinth to wander within. Rest in Peace.
This is as good as a play by Beckett
All I can say is Mrs doubtfire was one of the greatest comedic movies of all time.
