The Taksing village | Upper Subansiri | district: The last Indian village near Indo Chinese Border.

Taksing is a circle administrative centre in Upper Subansiri district of Arunachal Pradesh. It is situated near line of actual control (LAC).
Nah-Tagin is the native people of this area. They celebrates Lossar and Tsechu festival. The Losar are celebrates as new year while Tsechu is their socio religious festival.
The temperature of Taksing is very cool due to high altitude. There are snow fall in the village during Winter.
Border Road Organization (BRO) are the executing agency of Taksing road. The road is now in verge of completion. However, some vehicles like Gypsy, Scorpio (4×4), Tata Sumo, fortuner, Tata/Bolero pick up etc could make movement.

Hi, I've been looking to get some info on Taksing when I chanced upon this video. Can you tell me if there are any homestays or other accommodation in Taksing and the villages in the way? Will the local people take us in for a night? TIA 🙏🏼

There is no homestay at Taksing. However, you can stay with local people in their huts...

Now there is a homestay my own cousin's, yu can visit anytime. Locals are very friendly and honest

Transportation from Itanagar to Ziro and Itanagar to pasighat are available for morning and noon. All mobile networks are working there...

@@debaratihalder2917I thought you are talking about Ziro and Pasighat. Road is not good up to Taksing, and Tata Sumo is running between Daporijo and Taksing but not regularly . There is no Network, only BSNL is there but very poor connection. If you wish to visit I suggest u to visit during Winter.

Tibet is an autonomous territory of China. We can't call Tibet as separate country until they do not get independent.

@@papainalofilm6883 we can and we should. Historically and culturally and linguistically it's nothing like China. Tibet has everything which is needed to be called a sovereign nation. Whole world knows how and when China invaded Tibet. So, let us do our small contribution by calling (correcting) it by it's real name i.e Tibet and not China......
