I live in the Boreal Forest, and it gets really cold in the winter, and really hot in the summer. Summers are short and winters are long. But over the years, winters seem to get shorter and shorter and summerd are getting longer and hottee

well cause word taiga is russian word, that they use to summarize thier massive forests in northern/eastern part. not many countries have boreal forest in thier teritory, scandinavia countries and canada are other, so sometimes its confusing

I used to live in England. And whenever my plane landed back home in Sweden and I looked out the little comercial jet window onto the dark taiga forest I would cry. I was home. In England, everything you will ever see is touched by man. It is like a huge, well managed garden. If you grow up in a land where there is more land than people, living in England wears on you, it is a constant stress. And coming home to the place where people are more valuable than land, rather than the other way around, its a relief.

I just spent the past 2 hours researching information about Boreal forests and deciduous forests. Shortly after, I researched tools to make presentations. That was a bit of a bust. Then, I turned to KZread! What I would love is if there were sources posted on your videos so that I could turn to the resources if me or the teacher would like to learn more.
