What a voice. Wonder what happened 12 years later listening to this. Great performance.
Found this on accident. Been following Elton John since mid 70s….WOW!!
I'm not an Elton John fan but this song has always blown me away, it's amazing. I wish he'd followed this path of melodic rock'n'roll. Sir, you're amazing. I need to see you live somewhere and sometime! Bucket List!
I literally can't tell the difference between your voice and Elton's voice back in the 70s. Magnificent! Literally the best cover of Funeral For a Friend/Love Lies Bleeding I've ever heard, and especially with the inclusion of an orchestra!

I'm thinking the same. tHanks for the video!
What a great version of my favorite Elton John song. It actually sounds like Elton singing back in 1973. Awesome job!
Perfect !! Elton certainly would endorse it.
Your amazing! I never get tired of watching this video.
Excellent - Sir Elton will be proud of this group as well as of such a fine presentation of this classic. Well done!
I have loved this song since I was a young teen. This is really good!
Never heard this song covered before....my frickin' ears are ringing I cranked it up so loud. I'm just in awe right now.

You should check out dream theater version of this and their medley of in the flesh carry on wayward son bohemian rhapsody lovin touching sqeusing turn it on again
My big respect for this FANTASTIC rendition of Elton's legendary show opener. Amazing version!
This guy got a great voice. I think he should think about more than covers
I love this song 🇧🇷
Great cover to my favorite Elton John song.
My father used to listen to this album when I was a very small child...I saw the trailer for the new Ant-Man movie and thought I'd relive some of the olden days...but I never got past this first "pairing". This is a downright stellar cover of what is, in my opinion, Elton John's greatest song ever. Fantastic!

I agree! I'm not much for Elton but this song blows me away!
Blew my mind Good !!!
Great job. I loved
He has an amazing voice. Sounds a lot like Elton.
The closest thing we’ll ever get to a Sydney 1986 version of FFAF/LLB, wish Elton played it with the orchestra, the opening would have been especially amazing
Excellent! Let's hear it for the guitarist who has Davey Johnstone's parts to the note.
that is amazing !! always loved this track since i was a young teenager and Elton John fanatic great job !!
Where in the world have I been? Dude, this ‘band’ rocks! Lead sounds just like EJ too!
Awesome! Love Elton and this song! 🙌🤩 PS: This arrangement looks so similar to the original song! Congratulations! 👏👏👏
Terrific. As good as Elton's original
This dude and these musicians nail it.
Great version! Very well done!
Loved how they built a grand piano around the keyboard
It was at this concert that I first heard - and fell in love with - Brody/Symphonic Rockshow. Since, having seen this fabulous show numerous times at the Smith Center I still prefer the less formal, outdoors setting of the Henderson Pavilion. Memories!
Excellent!
Absolutamente wonderful!
Great all!!!
Lots of talent there. But I have yet to find anyone to replicate Elton's voice. He puts so much emotion into it, that anyone else sounds flat.
This is amazing.
Awesome. Love the arrangements, love your vocals. Wish I’d discovered you earlier!
I just stumbled upon this and honestly, it is, hands-down, the best full-band cover on KZread! Simply outstanding! ... And the addition of the symphony? Spectacular!
thats talent.......frikin awesome Brody!
Ruddy brilliant version, love it!!!!!!
SUPERB THE RIQUIEM. OVERTURE JUST AMAZING , JUST SYMPHONIC
that my dear was amazing.
Love It!!
Stunning piece of music!!
A very respectable cover. A plus!
incroyable reprise !avec un symphonic !super ...
I went from YBR to ZUSA to SymphonicRockshow within about two weeks. All 100% amazing. Love Brody and Jonathan and everyone!. Is there anything these guys can't do? Wow!
This is an uncanny reproduction. Bravo
I always thought this would work splendidly with an orchestra backing the piano, guitar and bass.
You peeps pulled off a very ambitious piece. Hats off to the group, especially pianist/vocalist, and lead guitar. Nice.
A Ti mi amigo Enrique Camarillo esta melodia que tanto te gusta. Llégue a Ti hasta la eternidad donde ahora descansas.
Brody's vocal rivals Elton in his prime, and the orchestral arrangement is well done, not over done. - Van
Very talented
Excellent cover!
Great cover!
never play this so great as this ONE
Top...wowowowow...very good job guys...one of my favourite song ever!

Wow is the voice of Elton in the 70,s !

Dream Theater's version blows chunks.
¡¡Fabulosa agrupación!!!!
This is pretty friggin good
A+
Super duper nice cover😊✌
Excellent electric guitar work, drums and all vocals in tune and accurate to the original. Otherwise, pedestrian orchestration and performance hitting below the magnificent original, but there’s only 1 Elton and post about 1977 he wasn’t able to pull off live much close to the original anyway. Bravo. New sub here. I look forward to checking out more, thx.

Ummm…thanks?
He sings it real well
@walraven2 Yeah walraven2..you are so correct. I've never seen anyone doing this song better! Only thing that compares is the track on the Yellow Brick Road LP...cuz even Elton can't do it like this anymore. YAY BRODY!!!!!
Starts out a bit mechanical at the beginning but very solid rendition. Guys voice sounds like early Elton. Nice cover.
Wow
❤
Good shit
OH. MY. GOD. *YES!!!!!!!!* :D
So close on sound it's scary! Vocal style clone of Elton John. Really good job but I like hearing covers done in a band's own style, however the quality here is top notch
f@#$ing great
World Tour...? NOW!!! ( Start in The Netherlands ;) )
I hope Elton saw this!
I just want to know is the skeleton ballet at 8:36 a stock animation clip or did they hire a graphic designer to make that specifically for a song called ‘Funeral for a Friend’
👍
I would have thought he’d used a grand piano rather than synth

logistics probably
my favorite part is the dancing skeletons
I just don't know what to say about THIS...👤💬🤔😍💥🔥💞
He sings like 70s Elton John
They should have got this dude to star as Elton in the movie Rocket man instead of the little sweet BOY !!
i find it interesting how all of the real instruments so so fake in this recording....
The piano sounds like a toy piano. FFS. But the vocals are awesome.
